I guess you could consider these two Halloween games. Let me know what you think.

LC is good but it is very short.

I never made it past the second level in Lollipop Chainsaw - I loved everything about it but the gameplay, which is competent but also kind of boring and uninvolving. One day I'm just going to put the game on the easiest setting and blast through the rest of it, because I'm sure I'm missing out on some amusing stuff. I've heard that DMC is fine, but I probably won't play it until I finish the rest of the other Devil May Cry games first.

Biggest surprise for me is you calling Dante's new look stylish. Seems like that's what the majority of people hate about it. Was expecting you to complain about him being turned into a skinny cigarette smoking emo.

Interestingly the co creator of this game LC went on to make Guardians of the Galaxy for Marvel. A wee bit of trivia for you.

Someone check Dave's achievement profile and see if he tried to look up Juliet's skirt.

I haven't played either of these games yet but I'm sure both are well on their way to being super cheap games (like between $5-10 used) in the future. Especially now that the pS4/xbox one has had some time to be out, it won't be long until a ton of PS4/360 games are fitting in this category. I thought DMC looked fairly interesting and I'm glad you cleared up if this was a remake of the first game or not, I was pretty confused about that for a while. Thanks for the reviews.

Enjoyed both of these games, i know a lot of DMC diehards seem to love hating on the new game for some reason(Dante's new look didn't really strike me as "emo").

I'll never understand why they ruined his design and looks, he isn't really the same
character anymore. The original was designed with great manga/ anime chars in mind
such as Buichi Terasawa's Cobra, and is widely considered cult. As the saying goes,
"If it ain't broken.." I just don't get it.

I think both designs are pretty good.
