You can continue in Milon's Secret Castle, even though it's not clear. You have to get the first crystal ball then when your game ends you hold Left and press Start to continue.

A herald of all consuming Galactus, a noble wanderer able to defeat armadas of kree warships, gifted with the Power Cosmic! which turns out to be as useless as a pea shooter against giant orange fish. Oh, they must be the evil magic fish of Mefishto.
And out of all the comic book licenses you could rent in the 80s, why the Surfer? Should have made him Marty on a hoverboard...

Hehe....this is like AVGN (Angry Video Game Nerd) collection of reviews. He's torn all of these games to pieces over the years.
I personally like Milon's Secret Castle. It's not great by any stretch of the imagination but I like trying to figure it out. It's one of those super cryptic NES games where you would have no clue what to do with Nintendo Power or an internet guide.
It's a fun little game and it felt like Hudson Soft was trying to create their own Legend of Zelda type game but really missed the boat. The game is playable and whenever you figure something out on your own you feel like a genius lol. I'd probably give it a C or C+ depending on my mood.

If "Silver Surfer" had a life bar and more forgiving collision detection, it would be so much better. It would go from being an F to at least a B-. Everything else about the game is fine except for the insane difficulty. Some games you have to wonder why they made them so hard. But some people claim to have beaten it. I guess it requires hours of memorizing every last detail of every level, and not losing your powerups.
I was also thinking AVGN when I read these reviews. Next you should review "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde"!

Yeah, I also thought AVGN when I saw these reviews. All three have videos where he tears them to shreds. That aside, I liked your reviews. Apparently Silver Surfer is playable if you somehow get powered up... Somehow...

I did not like the critic's mean description of the character Milon.

Very well done. I hope other comic geeks caught that one.
