For about $60 is the normal cost of the Retron 3 but if you look at the auction there is 1 game that is worth more than auction itself that was included. Couldn't believe it!

Damn, nice find. I never would have even seen it. I wonder how often things like this get overlooked by the majority of eBayers (probably a lot). Awesome!
Really, the games you got were worth almost double the console if you include Mega Man V, lol.

The listing was on there 12 hours which I was surprised by. I see Mega Man 5 is going around $70 on ebay or more which is nuts. Complete copies with box an manual are well over $150.
Did they not make many copies of this as I see Mega man 6 sells for much less?

Wow. Nice find. What a dumb listing though. Mega Man 5 is probably worth more than the Retron; It should at least be included in the main picture. Ocarina, Mario 3 and Dr Mario 64 are all worth a decent amount too. The seller basically hid all the games by not putting them in the title, description or main picture so most people probably thought it was just the system.

As far as why MM5 is worth so much more than the other games, I'm honestly not too sure. It isn't crazy rare or anything. If anything the cost of the game is probably higher since it's slightly more rare than the other games (since it was a late release) and the game is part of one of the hottest franchises of the 8 bit era.

I know the PAL release is extremely rare. I was able to purchase new the 3rd and the 4th -which both came out very late in the PAL NES lifecycle- at around the PS1 release for close to nothing each at the local equivalent of Gamestop . Now, these games both fetch a pretty penny, but they don't go as high as the 5th installment. I never even saw it stores back in the day, must have had a limited release.
