Here's a trio of re-reviews. I actually downgraded the grades of Mario Bros. (from A-) and Realsports Soccer (from D-).
Comments welcome.

There's also an NES version of Mario Bros (obviously not to be confused with Super Mario Bros), which I imagine would be the best version as well as the best looking.

Good reviews.
There was a mistake on your Mario Bros. review. You stated that Luigi was Mario's cousin, when he is his brother.

I found the Critic's descriptions of crabs and fireballs in the review of the version of Mario Bros. for Atari 5200 systems rude and unnecessary.

I find your perceptions of what you consider rude and unnecessary to be offensive. Please be mindful of not offending people. Thank you.

I am pushing the limits of what's deemed acceptable on the Internet. It's a wonder my site hasn't been banned by most countries.

Come on Mario everything is in context and it matches the humour of the site. The world does have profanity (although it is very mild here) and when done correctly it adds humour and context.

Like most Americans I only pay attention to soccer once every four years but when the U.S. is in the World Cup it does grab my attention for a minute or two. So needless to say I know nothing about the sport. But I really enjoyed Realsports Soccer and thought the original D- grade was too harsh. Now it is an F ?!?!
I know grades are subjective but if I was a kid in 1983 who loved and played soccer I would have been delighted to have this game with it's flaws. I do agree the passing sucks (with having to cycle) but this was the premier soccer video game of it's day.
Still, I always love seeing reviews on the old stuff!
And am I missing something about these offensive crabs & fireballs?

I did not ... Post Edited: Provocative.

I wonder if a better "apples to apples" comparison would be with Intellivision's World Cup Soccer - which I am surprised the VGC hasn't reviewed yet. I have only played it a few times but it I enjoyed it too. I just do not understand the rules and the sport itself doesn't grab my interest. But for a few game playing sessions it is time well spent. I do like how these games convey the large field this sport is played on.
No rush on reviewing the Intellivision game Dave.....I won't care about soccer again until World Cup 2018.
