2015/6/27: Fairchild Channel F: Drag Strip, Pinball Challenge, Tetris

Always love Channel F reviews.

I'm somewhat surprised at your Pinball score as most regard it as a fun Breakout clone.

I'm awaiting my new multi-cart after foolishly selling my previous one to fund a SG-1000 which just doesn't like PAL TV's and when I do I shall revisit the game to compare your irritations with the game but I was expecting a B or C at worst.

You can't be far off a complete review set for this system now.

He has 14 cartridges left to review for the Channel F. Three could be excluded cause they are educational titles.

I think my biggest problem with Pinball Challenge is not that it was a rip-off, but it was a bad rip-off.
Tetris on the other hand, while unoriginal, was very well done.

Just joined in part to commend and thank the Critic on being (to my knowledge) the only person online doing Channel F reviews. With one or two exceptions, I tend to agree with his thoughts on them too. Great to know somebody else is playing these games!

Just listened to the Channel F files podcast on Pinball Challenge.

The Critic gets a mention,and boy is one of the guys not happy with his Pinball review. Unfortunately he doesn't actually state why he disagrees with the review and why the Critic's score is wrong.

Granted Breakout was included in the dedicated Video Pinball plug-n-play (before TV Games called them that), but a standalone game that's a clone of Breakout being called Pinball Challenge is bogus, it's not pinball really.
