Yeah, but not to the extremes the DS game goes to. The original sorts games by themes like "animals", "photos", "craziness", ect., while the DS version has themes like "move the stylus in circles", "drag stuff with the stylus", "blow into the microphone", and so on. Obviously you'll get a lot of similiar games that way.

Sorry to get everybody off topic and being vague. While I like my DS I don't currently have any games for it b/c I am still waiting for something decent to come out since Mario. I am not a huge Zelda fan but I am going to pick that game up for sure as I know it will be a quality title. I would also like to add that having several handhelds on the market is good for everybody. Nice review.

Nice review. What is the DS going to do when people get tired of playing stupid mini-games? Not sure b/c that seems to be the only thing the system does well.

Maybe you just don't like games that are collections of mini games? You are entitled to your opinion, though.
You're right I don't they don't have and substance to keep me playing. I did enjoy wario ware touched a lot though, even more so than twisted.

I'll admit though, it's possible I'll pick up "Cooking Mama", it looks pretty interesting.
All in all, I think many people expect more from the DS these days. In the beginning, we were happy with "tech demo" games like Feel The Magic because we weren't sure of what to make of the DS's features. I think it's hard to justify mini-game compilation games on DS now that it has a solid library under it's feet.

For those inclined, here are some more mini-games on the DS:

It received a decent grade, not sure if it is a budget title or not.

Sorry for coming back to this party late, but I just now finally noticed the Wisconsin person who commented about the health food store.
I'll stand corrected on that one (-:
Basically, I made that analogy due to the high amount of dairy products that come from the region, but perhaps I should have figured that there would be some sort of "counter" response to that.

"Normally this type of game would get about as much attention in America as a health food store in [Texas]"
I fixed it for you. That's a better analogy; Texas is the fattest state.
