Now that you have reviewed the good 5200 version of Mario Brothers, it's time for you to review the hands down greatest version ever made.
The Atari XE version rocks......
Oh and the 7800 version has some weird looking graphics and lacks the 5200's sound, but the play is as good as the 5200...

Why was the 5200-version of James Bond rated F, and the Colecovision one
rated C?? I think both games are pretty much the same. I never played the
5200 JB (because the 5200 was never published in Germany), but I ownt the
CV one. The Videogamecritic wrote that you have to give this game a chance. Why not the 5200 JB? I think C is an average rating.

[/QUOTE]It's a good point. I'll go back and replay the Colecovision version so I can reconcile those grades.

No, the XE version beats the crud out of the NES version! The NES version cut many corners on the graphics; the XE port, however, is almost arcade perfect except for a small amount of flicker. The XE version is so good I think it deserves an A+ (I disagree with the critic; Mario Bros. is up there with the greatest classic games and is the best cooperative two-player game ever made).
For the Many Faces look at the XE version, click here:

I agree that I need to pay closer attention to maintaining consistency in my reviews. In Beamrider's case however, I don't think there's a conflict. The 2600 version has better control, and the graphical standards for that system are lower that those for the 5200. So I think it's reasonable that the 2600 version scored slightly higher (B-) than its 5200 cousin (C).
