E.T. and Asteroids

I just got in the mail today a copy of E.T. on dvd. Picked it up for a paltry $4 on Ebay. I luv this film. I hadn't seen it in about 8 years a long while back on VHS. It's just as magical as I remember. But I just saw a scene where Mike (Elliot's older brother) comes home from football practice and greets Elliot. He says "You know (a name I can't make out) just scored 69,000 points on Asteroids yesterday". Haha, I think that shows how ingrained arcade and console games were to the male teenager and kid back in the early 1980's. We'd be thinking about that in school when we could get to the arcade/home to play a great video game. Oh that brought back so many memories!
