Don't think it will be easily hackable due to the simple fact that there's no ports to install anything. I'm just hoping for a virtual console option. Don't think it matters though. I own every game on that list, and my NES is hooked up to a PVM via RGB. And the Virtual console emulation has inferior video quality. Hopefully that is fixed.

I guess I was looking at the cost from my point of view. Seeing as how I already have a slew of games on emulation.

The NES emulation on VC is so-so, but the genesis and neo geo stuff (which was handled by M2) is truly top-notch. Would be neat to see a genesis or AES emu box using those versions.

Does anyone know if this supports classic NES controllers? I'd like to use my Advantage joystick.

It looks as if it's only compatible with its dedicated NES-like controller and the Wii's Classic Controller.

Some company called EMiO is making an Advantage clone for the NES mini called the Edge:

I might have to wait for a few reviews before I decide to buy it, but it looks interesting.

I've got my fingers crossed that they do this with the SNES someday.

Good question. I believe I saw an article saying that Gamestop will NOT accept pre-orders. And I heard that Amazon had it available for pre-order and sold out almost instantly. Not sure if that's true since I signed up to be notified when it would be made available and never got an email.

I think that I will just give up now on trying to find this before Christmas. My birthday is a month after Christmas, so I'm hoping it will be easy to find then.

Good news and bad news:

The bads news is the last I checked Amazon still did not have pre-orders.

The good news is Nintendo put up scans of the manuals of all the games
