Excellent game! The controls are super smooth, the graphics and sound are still excellent today, and the game is just plain fun. What more is there to say? The game doesn't put much of a penalty on you for dying (only have to walk back a few feet to where you were) so the frustration is kept to a minimum and you can just relax and enjoy the game.
It's certainly one of the hallmarks of the platforming genre.

It really is a great game, but the controls are a bit of a mix of stiff and floaty, which makes it easy to miss some jumps.
