I've been getting this one out recently for some of my younger gamer friends (20's) and they can't get over how fast this game is. They are amazed at the speed around 500 points, and that's nothing! My new high is 3891.
Another thing people are fascinated with are paddle controllers. Most have never seen such precise analog control!
I've also been playing Warlords and its excellent clones like Medieval Madness (2600) and Castle Crisis (Atari XEGS).
I'm glad it's possible to play Warlords on the PS4 (via Atari Classic compilation) but I suspect the thumbstick controls might leave something to be desired. I kind of doubt I will even own 4 PS4 controllers, but friends could bring theirs over.

You can play Warlords with the touch pad on the PS4 controller, and it works great. You can also use it for other games that use spinner and trak-ball style controls.

Yes, Kaboom and Warlords are two of my all-time favorites for the 2600. Great games!

The correct title to the game I mentioned in the original message was Medieval Mayhem, not Madness.

Awww, for a second I thought someone homebrewed my prized collection piece.
