Winter and Empire Strikes Back go together hand-in-hand.
While simplistic in design, this game is challenging. I don't even bother with the smart bomb and solid walker variations because the basic game is hard enough. I might update the review.
I recommend variation 3-b. My current high is 957.

Re: Empire Strikes Back (Atari 2600)
When I was a kid I had this cartridge and had lots of fun. But as my Atari 2600 was imported and came with no manual, I thought that the switches on the console would just modify the difficulty, and not the game modes, as it happens sometimes.
As a kid I was much better playing this game than I am now - I remember being able to wipe out pretty much ALL walkers and wait for new ones to pop up in the screen... nowadays, I don't even know if I would be able to put the first one down without losing a life or two!
