Bill Paxton, Hudson from Aliens, passed away.
The actor not only has played a character killed by The Alien, but also a Predator (Predator 2) and a Terminator (Terminator). For video game fans, that's gotta be a badge of honor.
For myself, I remember enjoying his performance in Edge of Tomorrow. That movie is essentially a video game anyway (with only 1 save point).

Re: Bill Paxton
Sorry (to Bill!) for the late reply, but I didn't see that there was a thread here.
He's fun in Aliens, but I really loved him in Apollo 13. Horrible shame that he's gone.

His best work was Chet in Weird Science.

Its such a shame that he passed. Loved his characters. Chet from Weird Science and the car salesman from True Lies are among my favorite. Truly sad.

Re: Bill Paxton
It's a shame to lose a good actor so young - he was someone who could steal a movie in a small part, and by all accounts he was a joy to work with. My favorite Bill Paxton performance is his turn in A Simple Plan - a seemingly good man who, in the classic film-noir style, wants what he can't have and destroys both himself and his family in the process, one agonizing decision at a time. It might also be Sam Raimi's best movie - although I'd probably still give that title to Evil Dead 2.

Great actor, loved him in a lot of movies. I remember him most from playing the God's Hand Killer in Frailty. He was in a lot of great movies but I'll always remember him in that film. He will be missed.
