Great movie. It does feel like the natural conclusion for Wolverine as a character (or at least Hugh Jackman's interpretation of Wolverine, since there's no way they're letting a character this popular alone). It also feels like a bit of a throwback to the comics from the late 70s-80s, both in that Wolverine here feels like what could be described as "Clint Eastwood with claws" and also the way he was a mentor and protector for Kitty Pryde and Jubilee. As fun as the Marvel franchises are, they always feel like they are holding back in order to have more for next time; here, it feels as if they're leaving everything on the table.

I keep thinking it is Logan Run.. and it has been remade.. shame it is not. I loved William Nolan's trilogy.
