So, I stumbled across this today and figured that there would be some here who would be interested:

The name is kind of dumb, but the game looks pretty great, sort of like Streets of Rage on steroids. The price is kind of steep though, with the regular version priced at $69 and a limited edition selling for $89 (and I'm not even sure what the difference between the two are). They're even selling a special 6 button Paprium-themed arcade stick for $150.

I MUST HAVE THIS!! I agree it doesn't really explain what the difference between the normal and special edition is.

I just found this in the FAQ at the bottom of the page:
5. Does the box look like a original MegaDrive/Genesis box? Yes it does, it's the exact same style and size. The LIMITED EDITION is made of artboard instead of plastic while the CLASSIC EDITION is made of plastic!!!
What exactly is artboard? I wonder if this is the only difference. Not sure if I would pay $20 extra if it is.

The game looks great almost Neo Geo quality. But this is what the Mega Drive was best at arcade games and throwing loads of sprites around.
Think I might leap in and pre-order.

An 80 MEG cart?! My God! For a 16-bit cart, that's absolutely huge! If I remember correctly, the biggest Genny cart was Super Street Fighter II, which clocked in at 40!

I ordered classic edition.
It's 80 MEGA POWER and comes with an expansion chip, the function of which I'm not sure. But it will be only the second after Virtua Racing to include one for Genesis.
Should be awesome.

The previous Watermelon game, Pier Solar, was 64 MEGA POWER.

This looks amazing. I don't even have my Genesis anymore, though - hopefully this will get ported the way that Pier Solar did.
