Looks like a good book. And a smart move-- Now's the time to be making as much money as possible on SNES stuff. The 16 and 32 bit eras are the hottest segment in retro gaming right now, because that's what the 25-35 year old demographic grew up playing, and that age demographic is always the largest in the hobby and spends the most money in the hobby. For the 16-bit era, they probably have another 5 years to milk that before interest takes a big downturn. SNES will stay popular for awhile, of course, just as NES books still sell well and (to a lesser extent) Atari books too...but just pointing out that SNES is at it's peak right now, if it hasn't started slightly declining already. I feel like the problem is that most retro gamers are 25-35 while most people capable and willing to write books about retro games are like 35-45, which means that their knowledge/interest in usually for systems that are on the decline and fading in interest...which means you get books about Colecovision, which is great but has no hope of making as much profit as an SNES, PS1, or N64 book. Not all about money, I know, but authors have to survive too, and they need to profit if we want the publisher to allow them to do more books for us. Anyway..besides my rambling, I'm looking forward to this one.
