Looks like the Jaguar is finally getting the attention it deserves!  I think this is the first time I've given three F's at once.  Troy Aikman is the only brand new review, but the other two are much improved, don't you think?

LOL, "his 'O' face"... that's rich.  Maybe all those rumors about Aikman were true after all.

I'm guessing you have 99,999 saves left in Fight for Life, right? It seems as though this is a good indicator of which system we should have picked as the worst system of all time in the other thread.

Yeah, there's nothing like judging a system by one person's opinion of three known crappy games. Browsing through all the reviews would be too much work when it's just easier to say it sucks.

You're right. There's so much that's great on Jaguar; I shouldn't point out a couple of bad eggs.

Oh dear, did my "worst System.." thread START something?

As I said elsewhere, sometimes you wonder if after the 2600 Atari WANTED to fail....even though I love the 8-bit computer, 5200, 7800 and Lynx, they never seemed to really TRY hard and Jack T. (AKA "Jack the rip-off") really messed things up. I never saw a Jag, it MUST have a few good games to have fans, but I don't think , even looking at the WHOLE catalog , that I'd want one, since RAIDEN, TEMPEST X, RAYMAN and other good/decent games are available on PSX anyway.

Maybe they should have stuck with the 16-bit PANTHER.

Fight For Life...I thought this was a video game about Atari...anyway...enough with the bad jokes...there are a lot of choices but clearly the Jaguar is the worst console in the past 10 or 15 years. How the hell did Atari screw this up so bad? It is so hard to think that the same company was responsible for bringing video games into our homes in the first place. What a joke.

call me a heretic, a nutjob, or a blondbasket, but i kinda liked the jaguar system.  there were some total duds, but i thought tempest, zool, soccer, and rayman were fantastic games.  the jaguar never got the 3rd party support that's imperative for a system to survive, and it's marketing made the george plimpton endorsement of the intellivision seem like pure genius.

so please don't slam the jaguar on this website, or else somewhere in the u.s., an indian will shed a tear.
