Not a level per se, but I hate whenever games use switch puzzles like the one shown here in Resident Evil 7's Not a Hero DLC:

When have these puzzles ever been fun to solve?

This. Stealth levels for me are about as enjoyable as getting my impacted wisdom teeth removed.

You know what the most fun part of a Crash Bandicoot game is? Running from a boulder toward the camera.

Mine cart levels. That's what popped in my head first. I agree about escort missions too.. I hate my survival in a level being decided by the abilities of some idiot AI.

Maybe more unusual.. despite being a fan of RPGs, I always hated the dungeons. For example, big fan of Final Fantasy games from the 90s, but dreaded going into a dungeon. It meant I was stuck in their for an hour or two until I finished it, with few save points, endless annoying random battles, and the same scenery over and over. Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like people generally like those, because that's where the "action" is.

This is more personal preference instead of any actual flaws, but in 2D platformers I hate levels where the walls and floor can kill you, like the brier patch levels in Donkey Kong Country 2. It's like, I have enough trouble not falling into the bottomless pits. I don't need the walls and ceiling to suddenly be dangerous too.

I also don't like forced climbing levels, like Toxic tower in DKC2 or the one with the giant saw in the third game. Slime Climb is even worse since it pretends like you've got a chance to jump out of the water before you die, but it's still a death sentence most of the time. I suck at making split second decisions, and if you mess up once in these levels it'll probably drop you straight into whatever you're running from.
