Game/Movie collection tracking app?
Do any of you use some sort of android app to keep track of your games and/or movies? I hate it when I'm out at a retro game store and can't remember whether I already own a certain game (or own it for a different console.)

I thought for sure someone would have an app answer.
I still use a spreadsheet, which I maintain on a desktop, and there are apps to read it on my mobile phone.

I use something called CLZ Games (Collectorz.com) on my iPad but according to the website, it is available for Android. I've been pretty happy with it.

Good topic! I also use a spreadsheet not available online.
A lot of times I won't buy a game just because I don't know if I have it already.

Good topic. I collect for EVERY system. I have tried many, many dedicated apps, but I found them all very slow to use; both in logging my collection, and in using it to search my collection at the game store. What finally worked was Excel. I just make a spreadsheet of games I already have/seek (1 tab per system) and then just use the free app Sheets to pull the sheet up while at the store. It's hard to imagine a collecting app being faster and easier than Excel, but I'll keep my eyes open.

I’ve used this for years you can scan the barcodes or manually enter the games.
But the two biggest features I like is that you can rate each game out of 5 stars and not if you’ve beaten the games or not.

Could you use your phone's note program? Does Android have a note program? iPhones used to, but I think the newest version of iOS removed it.

I've got to admit, I was hoping to not have to type all of the game names in Maybe I'll just buck-up and use a spreadsheet. I had one years ago, but it's been lost to the sands of time (or a hard-drive failure.)
Keep the suggestions coming, though!

Re: Game/Movie collection tracking app?
My Excel spreadsheet has a tab for each system, and each game has 5 columns:
name, publisher, condition, manual condition, box condition
Ex: Space Harrier Sega 5 5 4
My condition goes from 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent)
The problem is, the spreadsheet is only available on my computer.
There is however a Google Docs spreadsheet that will allow you to view it anywhere.
I'd recommend going that route.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to fully migrate my Excel spreadsheet to the Google Docs yet.
So I'm kind of stuck for now.
