Glad to see the reviews a bit shorter than usual. Short reviews are what make this site good. Reviews have been getting to bloated lately.

Only one question, sir. Is Evolution Dino Dudes similar, gameplay-wise, to The Lost Vikings? If so, I may need to ignore your review because I LOVED the Lost Vikings!! It just seems similar in nature.

I'm pretty sure Dino Dudes was released for various other platforms under the name "The Humans".
I had the Amiga version.
It may be compared to The Vikings in a few ways, but is differently not as good.

As a long time Jaguar fan, I have to agree with your latest assessments. Many folks enjoy "Mutant Penguins", but have tried it myself I can't see the appeal.

The Jaguar does have some good games, but also a lot of stinkers - and these three latest are among them.

Yeah it's like it.  I owned the PC version - Humans.  It is an utterly fantastic game, a bit like a slower paced, prettier version of Lemmings with complete control over your underlings.  The art style was fantastic, not sure what the Critic is on about here and I never had any trouble deciphering what the symbols were.  However the Critic does prefer action titles, this is not an action title and was never billed as one.  One of my favourite games this.

Wow, those reviews seem like the Critic had a short attention span when playing these games. Braindead 13 is crap, but the other two puzzle games are really good. Penguins is similar to Lemmings I'd say. Dino Dudes is a much harder version of Lost Vikings and not as fun, but still good. It's called Dinolympics on the Atari Lynx version. F's are way harsh.

Dino Dudes was a fun game.  When I first bought it I thought, "What the Heck?".

But once I figured the game out it was an addictive puzzle game.  It reminded me of lemmings.
