I think it is b/c I played just about every FPS out there and it's my favorite genre. I bought a N64 and both of these games and wasn't really impressed. However, I think if I had other N64 titles to compare them to maybe that would help. Nonetheless good reviews but I think I missed the point of both of these games which I found very mediocre. I have long since got rid of the N64.....

Actually, your video game license was suspended when you tacked that minus sign onto the Castlevania: Symphony of the Night score. You lost it when you didn't add a plus sign to Super Metroid's score.

[/QUOTE]You are correct - it's a re-review. I wanted to refresh my memory so I could properly judge the new Perfect Dark on the 360. That review will be posted soon.

Both awesome, awesome games. Totally agree with your reviews.
Kudos to Rare for making a limited amount of the game playable for those like me who didn't have the Expansion Pack.

I think both are "A" caliber games for the N64... I just prefer Goldeneye, b/c the story isnt so whacked... and it is James Bond after all... and the best one ever to boot.
PLUS, I think the bonus missions and the Antena stage are simply incredible... lots of good memories with Goldeneye.
