Might make a nice review someday in the future to do one for that excellent C64 DTV plug and play release from a few years back for the extras section. I bet you even own one of those already.
Would complement the Atari Flashback reviews already there and be a good way to encourage someone to jump into the land of C64 gaming by reviewing a cheap, self contained device to check out some of the games while running on a actual C64 on a chip.

Is there something like the AtariMax multicart for Atari 8 bits (Which supports many Atari 400/800 disk images) for the C64 that allows you to play games on tape and disk without having to use a tape or disk drive with the associated 30 year old games on magnetic media? I don't follow the C64 scene that much.

Very glad to see a C64 section here at the Video Game Critic. Great computer and a huge part of growing up in the 1980s.
I can't help but wonder -- are we going to see more eight-bit systems represented on the site? TRS-80 Color Computer? Atari 400/800? Apple 2?

The Atari 8 bit computer line is represented by the XEGS.

You are completely correct! Guess Atari's marketing worked -- trying to separate the XEGS from the computer line and define it as a console, I mean.
Regardless, the new C64 section makes me miss the good ole eight-bit days...

Since everyone here has probably died of dysentery at least once, you should review Oregon Trail.

I would love to do a review of Oregon Trail since I feel like this is a true gem I missed out on... but, I don't know how much luck I'll have finding a C64 copy of the game now. Ebay trolling to resume.

[QUOTE=The Video Game Critic]C64 Critic: One day you may decide to revise your "Collectibility" rating for the C64. I don't think the games are as cheap or ubiquitous as you thought.
Can anyone recommend any on-line stores that sell C64 games?

Well, finding complete commodore games, can be tough.. but to find an original disk/tape or cart... is VERY cheap.
eBay is best bet I think. Commodore 64 is one of the easiest to collect on eBay for, because people don't outbid often, unless it's a boxed Zak MCracken/MULE/Last Ninja III.
Commodore 64 is as collectable as NES, maybe easier to find, since many people don't know the C64 games that well (besides the common classics).
