MLB 2K11 versus MLB The Show 11

I am in the midst of reviewing MLB 2K11 (360) and MLB The Show (PS3). So far The Show has the edge in looks and polish, but MLB 2K11 may have surpassed it in the fun factor. I'll try to get these posted soon.

Your thoughts?

I don't have 2K11 for the 360, but I can say that at least the MLB games are safe from EA's fat cat monopoly as of now.

I have played MLB the Show for few years and it is AWESOME. I played MLB 2k10 last year and was not impressed and passed on it this year.
2k sports made maybe the best sports game ever in NBA 2k11 so I am interested in hearing what you have to say about their baseball this year.

I like 2K11 better as it is a bit more fun. I'm hooked on My Player mode, and I love the pitching, so you can imagine I'm a pitcher in My Player Mode.

Question: does 2K11 have an arcade feel? I own a 360 and I'm looking for a good baseball game for it.

It's a good baseball game but not for you if you want an arcade sports title.
It's definitely a simulation, which is something I like.

That's okay, I'm a huge fan of baseball anyways. I've always been since I was a little kid. My Indians are on a roll this season! Go Tribe! However, hearing from the critic on the glitches of the other thread, I am hesitant, but still looking for it in stores.

My biggest complaint about the newer baseball games is the fielding. 2k10 fielding felt so automatic. Where's the fun diving catches via Baseball Stars?
