I fired up Lego Star Wars figuring it would be a good diversion for some mindless hack and slash action. It's definitely a C grade game all the way through. There's so much "collection" stuff crammed into it to keep anyone busy for hours. However, I'm not so sure that's a good thing though. In either case there's 36 levels in total with opportunities to play through each 4 times to collect everything. As a result, for completionist fans you won't be disappointed. Everyone else, will grow tired with it after a bit.

The main problem I have with these Lego games is the combat. There's no technique at all - you just pound buttons. Also, the unlimited lives remove any tension.
