Re: NHL Hockey

I'm a Penguins fan, and they're doing better lately. I haven't had much time to watch (anything) this year as I'm finishing up my MBA.

Re: Your top 10 cartoons of all time

I have the strangest recollections from cartoons as a child. Some are the obvious, but others... I didn't watch a ton, and when I tried to remember the names and looked some of these up, they weren't on very long. No idea why they stuck with me. In no particular order: Looney Tunes Scooby Doo The Fl...

Re: Cats and patches

My all-time favorite video game quote comes from Lunar: Silver Star Story, and goes: "Delays are temporary. Mediocrity is forever." If I recall correctly, the phrase is uttered by a character in the game who is working on a project and is telling the other characters to be patient. But th...

Re: What's the coolest thing you've ever done in a videogame?

Mine would probably be something from a sports game.

A few that come to mind:
Hole-in-one on a par 4 in PGA Tour 3 on Genesis
Pitching a perfect game to clinch the World Series against the CPU in MVP 2005 on PS2

Something like that. From just an achievement perspective, maybe 100%-ing Goldeneye.

Re: Favorite Movie Series?

I just finished a 3 1/2 day run of all 24 official Bond movies in chronological order. I gave myself time to sleep so I could enjoy the experience. Somehow, I'm actually a little melancholy it's over. As I texted my buddies, I should be sick of Bond, but I'd do it again. Not starting tomorrow, but i...

Re: Favorite Movie Series?

Last Crusade is my favorite Indy movie... likely because it was the first one I saw. And I was 10 when it came out, which was the perfect age. Raiders is probably a better movie, but "favorite" does not mean "best."

Re: Favorite Movie Series?

I see they released the title of the next Bond movie...

No Time to Die

Let's see what Mr. Craig brings to the role for his final time.

Is the Xbox version considerably better than the PS2 version? After seeing ASalvaro's comment on the price I had to look on Ebay as well... and I see the PS2 version can be had for $35ish.

Re: The New Bond?

I wouldn't say the series is on life support considering the last two broke the bank at the box office. This is very true. Spectre had a domestic box office of just over $200 million, and another nearly $680 million acros the globe ($879+ million worldwide). This was actually seen as a disappointme...
