Sonic, I know that I often challenge you on your posts, but this one was genuinely great! Mad props on a well-researched, interesting post!

Re: Move over, ATGames. M2 is here to save the day!

I think the reason why we're not seeing equal support on Switch is because Nintendo's success is far more complicated, when it comes to third parties. If PS4/XBONE are successful, a lot of that is predicated upon third party support. Games like Madden, FIFA, and the like will always sell best on PS/...

Re: Move over, ATGames. M2 is here to save the day!

When it comes to any business, there really is no such thing as “backstabbing.” Why would EA continue to support the Wii U? Simply put, third party games sold poorly, so why invest the time and resources? The same goes for the Saturn/Dreamcast. How well would a game like Madden have sold on a consol...

He was merely the chairman, so I doubt he had much of an influence. I know that he said what he said about Night Trap, but it's not like he made those decisions. It would have fallen on Arakawa in the West, and Yamauchi in the East.

Re: Another 3rd paty dev jumps on the Switch bandwagon.

I've always thought that the 3rd party discussion, relating to Nintendo, neglects the Gamecube era. That particular era was more akin to the SNES era, when it comes to third-party support: -Capcom: Resident Evil Remake, O, 4, ports of 2, 3, and Code Veronica. Also, we got Viewtiful Joe (amazing game...

Re: Book Review: SNES Omnibus Vol 2 N-Z

Good review. Now that you have the book, check out Konami's take on Prince of Persia! It's one of my all-time favorite SNES games, and also my favorite port of the game! I'm amazed that it has flown so far under the radar of so many gamers!

Re: Nintendo exposes Sony with this game.

Wait—are you looking for genuine discussion, or are you fishing for replies? Admittedly, there were a lot but if you read through most of them, they weren’t necessarily part of a growing conversation. Most of the comments were of a questioning nature, wondering why you let this petty, inconsequentia...

Re: In 2019 is their even a point owning PS4 and Pro and Xbox One and X over Switch and PC?

Aside from the difference in cost, there are multiple amazing games that simply aren’t coming to PC: -the Uncharted series -Last of Us 1 and 2 -God of War -Until Dawn -The Last Guardian/Shadow of the Colossus -the upcoming Death Stranding -Horizon: Zero Dawn -Spider-Man -Bloodborne -Persona 5 -Gran ...

Re: Nintendo exposes Sony with this game.

I saw the list. I still don’t buy it because of its inconstancy. If censorship was a serious issue, you would see it in games like Red Dead 2, GTA V, Heavy Rajn, God of War, etc. This isn’t like Nintendo’s censorship guidelines of old, which impacted every release with questionable content. Nintend...

Re: Nintendo exposes Sony with this game.

It really isn't as unusual as you would think. Once again, there is BMX XXX which was released in, what, 2003? GTA: Chinatown Wars had you participating in drug dealing mini games on the same handheld that gave us Nintendogs and Cooking Mama. Fatal Fury 2/Special on SNES had jiggling breasts. In fa...
