Re: Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4/XONE)

I don't have a PS4/XONE, so I haven't played it (I also don't have time to play it), but enjoyed the last episode of South Park, in which all people seemed to play it and thus leading an alternative life in the world of RDR2!

Re: Do you enjoy watching others play?

No, I really do not understand the appeal. I want to play games myself. I especially hate those YouTube vids with a small video within a video with a guy playing a game without shutting up and trying to be funny. But I see kids like it, so maybe I'm just too old for to understand the fun of it.

Re: 2018/10/26: Commodore 64: Project Firestart

Well, a quick check of Ebay indicates that a complete, boxed copy of The Great Giana Sisters on disk is over one thousand (!!!) dollars. So unless I have a copy already on one of the many floppies littering my 'guy room', this one is looking unlikely. Unless I finally break down and go with an SD2I...

Nice. Question for the C64 Critic: I recently played 'Giana Sisters DS' on the original DS, which I really enjoyed. Will you ever review the original Giana Sisters for C64? I wonder what you make of that game.

Re: Ranking the Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis games

Again, this list? I cannot rate them fairly, because I played them all as a kid and replayed them all for almost 25 years.... So, a lot of nostalgia here. 1) Sonic 3 & Knuckles - I love the combo. I also love Sonic 3 as a standalone game, especially the save function. I didn't like that Sonic &a...

Re: Games that waste your time?

What a weird subject. Aren't all games suppose to be fun ways to waste time?

(Well, if I have to mention something: recently, I start enjoying casual hidden object games. They are sure time wasters, but I really enjoy wasting time with them).

Re: Video Game Memories

As a little kid, I had to get glasses. For some (unknown) reason I thought that was terrible. I remember playing Mega Turrican (Genesis) and how much the melancholic tune of the first stage reflected my mood back then (Like 20-25 years ago or something). (Is that obscure enough?) I also miss the day...

Re: Best Pokemon game to play if you only play one?

Learn with Pokemon Typing Adventure (Nintendo DS), it comes with a nifty little Bluetooth keyboard! Unfortunately, not released in the US. But since the DS is region-free, you can play it on an American DS too! (Yes, it's just a silly educational game. But enjoyed it more than I expected).

Re: Best Time of the Year for Gaming?

Winter, because it's too cold to get outside.
Summer, because it's way too hot to get outside.
Autumn, because it's too wet outside.
Spring, because everything is in bloom and that causes allergic reactions, so best to stay indoor.
