Re: Best Time of the Year for Gaming?

Winter, because it's too cold to get outside.
Summer, because it's way too hot to get outside.
Autumn, because it's too wet outside.
Spring, because everything is in bloom and that causes allergic reactions, so best to stay indoor.

It's nothing but trial and error BS. It's not even remotely fun. Only the most rabid fans of the horribly unfunny nerd could find this funny. If they love bad videos, they'll love a bad video game!

Is that ironic? I enjoyed it.

Rise of the Robots (Sega Genesis) - I can control it, but the fun disappears within seconds.
Also, Stormrise (Xbox 360) - I love RTS game on the X360 (Supreme Commander, Command & Conquer etc.), but this one is unplayable. I just don't get it.

Giana Sisters DS (Nintendo DS)

I recently managed to pick this one up for a cheap price - considering what it's going for on eBay. It's only released in Europe, but the original DS (not the 3DS) is region-free, so it's also playable on an American DS. I never played the original on the Commdore 64 (maybe the C64 Critic will revie...

Re: Most Disappointing Games?

Bioshock Infinite. Loved the first two Bioshocks but Infinite was such a big letdown for me. I read this a lot, I actually enjoyed it though. I enjoyed it too! I enjoyed it as much as BioShock 2. However, the first BioShock is still one of the best games ever for me - not even the sequels can match...

Re: Streets of Rage 4?

Mweh, I dunno. I was hoping for something like Streets of Rage Remake. I also don't understand: doesn't Sega has any own development studios anymore? Why outsource such a great franchise? Maybe it worked for Sonic Mania, but it didn't work too well for Sonic Boom.

Re: 2018/8/26: Playstation 2: Escape From Monkey Island, The Mummy Returns

I played the PC/Mac version of Escape From Monkey Island back in the days, but I don't recall it too well. I didn't hate it as much as you, but it wasn't as great as the original game. I thought it was just an okay game.

Re: Who didn't own a NES in the 80's?

I didn't own a NES in the (late) 80s! My first video game console was a Sega Master System, but maybe that's I'm from Europe. It had Alex the Kidd in Miracle World as built-in game. So, I have fond memories of that one. Other games that I liked were Choplifter , Double Dragon and Bubble Bobble . But...
