Re: What was your best goodwill video game find?

As far as Goodwill specifically, it’s been a long time since I’ve found great stuff there. I think their best stuff goes on ebay and Amazon these days. But like 10-15 years ago, I started my Turbografx collection at Goodwill. I walked in one morning and saw a whole collection just sitting in the cas...

I’m with you on Beamrider. Fun enough, and easy to play, but you forget about it the minute you shut it off. Never played Spiker.

Re: Ninjabread Man (Wii) OMG, this infamous piece of Wii Shovelware is a terrible as people makes it out to be!

Thanks Sonicx9 - good choice for a first review! I figure most people probably haven't heard of Ninjabread Man, so it's a good game to draw attention to. This game is infamously bad. It's one of the worst-reviewed games in the past 20+ years, and it would be in the Top 5 of any "hilariously bad...

Re: Top 13 Most Terrifying Games

Great list, thanks for posting. I had no interest in Alien Isolation - until now. I've added it to my to-buy list. But I try not to play too many survival horror games these days, because they are getting more and more intense - it's not like the old days of Resident Evil where my heart rate could h...

Re: Updated Halloween Special

Enjoyed looking through this, as always. I'm using it to come up with ideas of games I need to finally play this October, starting with Silent Hill on PS1. I also want to try out Nightmare in the Dark on my MVS multicart. And I want to revisit Splatterhouse and Zombies Ate My Neighbors, which I have...

Re: 2019/9/1: Philips CD-i: A Great Day at the Races, Space Ace

Always glad to see some new CD-i reviews!! These are two of the first CD-i games I bought with my system (back around 2003), and yet I haven't played either.. Thanks especially for reviewing an obscure game like Great Day at the Races. I always wondered if it was a good game. There aren't really any...

Re: NBA Jam (SNES)

Better late than never! I played NBA Jam a few times in the arcades back in the day, but, like you, I didn't really pick up the habit until years later. It's amazing how well it holds up all these years later - definitely up there with games like Tecmo Super Bowl as a timeless all-time great sports ...

Re: My Latest Project

Now that came out good! Really well organized and lots of cool stuff in there. My only "complaint" is that nice Jaguar box being blocked by the Switch box! The Jag is my personal favorite for best system box ever - always thought it looked cool and definitely grabs attention. So what does ...

Re: Halloween Ideas

I like the scary rating, but the spirit rating does make more sense for a Halloween special. No way to do both?

Re: 2019/8/17: Xbox: Outrun 2, Outrun 2006: Coast to Coast

These reviews got me on an Outrun kick and I started googling what other sequels are out there. Until today, I never knew about Outrun 2019 for the Genesis. Doesn't look very good (VGC reviewed it in 2002 with a C rating), but considering the 2019 year, it might be good for a re-review! Might make f...
