Critic, I'm guessing you didn't have the instruction booklet for Desert Falcon when you played it. There's a section in it breaking down a lot of the hieroglyphic combinations and what they do. Personally I always leaned towards the combination that warped you to the sphinx boss at the end of the le...
Donkey Kong.... the game is about a monkey, not a donkey. We kids thought it was a stupid name at first, too. Also I did not like the sound of Pac Man (my cousin called it Paceman), or Sonic the Hedgehog, at first. But things grow on you after a while. I think the worst name is Wild Woody ... espec...
Hopefully everyone had a good 2018. Does anybody still make resolutions? I tell myself every year that I want to get our house more organized and clean(er), but I kind of gave up on making it an official resolution. How about you?

My kids are going to be so disappointed since this is the primary use of the Wii in our house. It's the most simplistic and easy to use ve...

Both Toejam & Earl and Ecco the Dolphin for the Genesis come to mind for their uniqueness. There was an SNES game that centered around evolution which was really original too.

Personally I haven't played either of these so I don't have anything to add other than games that are too dark drive me crazy. I recently had this problem when trying to replay Silent Hill 3.

I still remember the first time I saw an NES and Super Mario Bros. was a display at Sears while my mom was waiting to pick something up there when I was around 7 or so. It blew me away. The wishbook was always a staple of the holidays too at our house.
