Re: Sonic Mania Plus (Switch)

Is this worth purchasing for those who have the original Sonic Mania (outside the physical format of course). If you already have Sonic Mania, Sonic Mania Plus can be downloaded as DLC for 5 bucks. (I had it for free cause I used my Nintendo Points on it) Like any DLC, it's worth it if you play &am...

Re: Sonic Mania Plus (Switch)

Love the music of the halfpipe, love the first 3 stages, then it just gets outrageously difficult. My favorite bonuses are the blue sphere stages from Sonic 3. They had just the right difficulty and were lots of fun. They went overboard on the difficulty of them with the later ones in Sonic Mania. ...

Re: Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back aka a butt ugly piece of junk!

To be fair, while I hate Bubsy as a whole (I find Bubsy 3D to be less annoying than Bubsy 1, and that's saying something), Woolies Strike Back just seems dull. Which is actually an improvement, cause as far as I see, the bobcat can move WAAAAY better than in Bubsy 1 & 2 where it was Tokyo Drift ...

Re: 2008/4/10: GameCube: Star Fox Adventures, Super Smash Bros. Melee

On the one hand, SF Adventures isn't bad at all for what it is, it's just overrated and has a lot of missed potential. The core game is fine, but that's it, "fine". If I'm trying to be as objective as possible, I'd give it a C+. On the other hand, as a fan of Star Fox I hate it, it has som...

Re: 2018/7/19: Playstation 4: Tales of Zestiria

IMO, Vesperia is the best that was released overseas bar none. Symphonia is a little overrated, though a close second. I say this as a Tales Of fan: Zestiria is just sooooo boring, and in the first 8 hours at the highest difficulty, I felt like mashing the attack button in battles was enough, while ...

Re: 2018/6/10: Xbox One: Super Lucky's Tale

The odd part is, Microsoft doesn't even seem concerned with getting any exclusives. Can't they see they are losing the console wars badly? I've never seen such a self-destructive company. I dunno really. To go on a tangent, I think Nintendo failed much harder with the Wii U. The Wii U was all about...

Re: Super Smash Bros Ultimate On Nintendo Switch (Spoilers!)

Riddley was a shock to me, Because when I first thought of it when people thought he would be in Sm4sh for Wii U/3DS I didn't think it would work.. But seeing this "Resized" Riddley It makes perfect sense and he looks like an good enemy, Speaking of "resized", as a sidenote, I n...

Re: Rodea: The Sky Solider (Wii U)

The Wii U version is actually a port of the 3DS version. Yuji Naka and his team had finished the Wii game rather late in the console's life, in 2011, but Kadokawa Games refused to publish it due to contract stipulations; until they themselves were done with the 3DS version for a simultaneous release...

Re: Wii U Console Review

If the Wii U has a B for the games, I'd say the Wii deserve higher than a B-. At least, the Wii wasn't starving for games 2 years after its release. I really had a mediocre experience with the Wii U, I only have like 10 Wii U games, some of them are terrible (Sonic Boom), while I own around 40 Wii g...

Re: 2016/11/7: Super Nintendo: Space Megaforce, Bugs Bunny Rabbit Rampage

Anecdote : The European/Japanese title for Space Megaforce is Super Aleste. Power Strike is also known as Aleste in Japan, so Space Megaforce & Power Strike are actually from the same series.
