Alienblue still around?

I have been posting on this site on and off again since around 2005, and have been following Dave since his first beginnings. I had often wondered what happened to some of the "old" guys, like Alien (and Zen, who was always giving Alien a hard time).

Its good to see that a few of the old...

2015/1/7: Playstation 4: Minecraft, NBA 2K15

Dave, I feel much the same way you do about Minecraft... as in, heinously boring. My kids love it, similar to the reason that Crock gave.

On the other hand, I have really enjoyed the game "Terraria", which is somewhat similar to Minecraft, but like on steroids! Its the game Minecraft sho...

The Dark Side of Online Gaming

Games or systems that FORCE me to be online, I do not even buy. Period. That is why, the 360/PS3 will likely be the last generation of system I buy, unless I can get into the One/PS4 for cheap, with some games that do NOT require online modes.

That said, I do use Steam/Origin for some of ...

Most... Expensive...Game...Ever

Interesting topic. The one game that comes to mind that I recall, is Ultima: Escape from Mt. Drash. It was released in cassette form for the Commodore Vic-20 by Sierra On-Line. Only a few copies are known to exist today, and it fetches some HUGE $$$.

The most expensive game I have ever ow...

Free time for gaming? How do you fit it in?

My son and I will play on the weekends (when I am off). Currently, we are going through the Halo series.. have beaten Halo 1-3, and are currently on Halo Reach. Its the only time he is allowed to play during the school year. With my weird schedule, it actually facilitates time for me to play (I work...

"New" Sega Genesis on craigslist

About 3 months ago, I bought a brand new, never opened Intellivision for $90. Its the first generation model. I have it in my closet. While I would love to open it and mess with it, I don't want to destroy the collectible value of it. But, I do like to look at it!

Found another one... found it as I was reading the latest Spiderman (SNES) review. In the review just below it (Spiderman/X-Men: Arcade's Revenge), you have the publisher shown as LVN. It's actually LJN, the same makers as the abysmal Spiderman review!
