Gamestop is starting a new program where you can return a new game within 48 hours if you don't "love" it. This is interesting, you can get a refund of store credit on a $59.99 game.

Re: What do you like/dislike about the site?

yea I just made a post on another thread and it went up right away. Neat. There's nothing I really dislike. Sure, I may not agree with all the reviews, but that's nothing to complain about. That's what makes things interesting, and kind of leads into my main reason of why I like the site so much. Th...

Re: O's Chris Davis 0 for 49!

I play a lot of daily fantasy sports, and Davis is priced way down on some sites. He looks like he is finally getting back in the groove, as he hit a home run today and had another nice game over the weekend. Maybe a symptom of his poor hitting was because he is a power hitter. Those players are kno...

Re: Best Kart Racer of N64/PS1 era?

I love the kart racing genre, especially from that era. There are some lesser-known games from that era, like Toy Story racing, Muppet Race Mania, and Final Fantasy Chocobo racing that I have never played. I did get Looney Tunes Racing a few years ago and it's really good. Mario kart 64 is more base...

Re: What ever happened to arcade style racing games?

thanks for the info about the retail release of Horizon Chase Turbo. I wonder what the price will be. I know it's $20 on the eshop, but I could see a retail release going for $40 just because. I am excited for both Crash and Sonic racing games. I am a huge fan of kart racers, though I do have one fo...

Re: What ever happened to arcade style racing games?

I love kart racing games, but I hate those "realistic" racing games like Grid. Your car hits something and spins around like a bowling pin. That's not fun. And the futuristic games like f-zero, wipeout, and fast racing neo don't appeal to me at all I hear you. I was a huge fan of Burnout R...

Re: Game store moral dilemma

Good for you for telling her about the Saturn games. I know you wanted to tell her about the game boy ones, but maybe she got good money for them from the shop, and the shopkeeper might make a nice profit from them. So, it all works out, she's happy that she could make a fortune from the Saturn game...

I feel like I'm the only one who is not into Pokemon

There’s a lot of talk about Pokemon lately, with two new switch games being announced. It is also the 23rd anniversary of the series. I’ve never played a main series Pokemon game. I’ve played various games featuring Pokemon characters, like Pokemon Stadium, and Pokemon Puzzle League. They seem like ...

Re: 2019/2/24: Nintendo Switch: Mutant Football League

Little bit surprise by the letter grade, but after reading the review. I can kind of see that. Still, an F grade does seem a bit low. The game looks like it goes for violence first, and tries to do football second. Just the fact there is so much stuff going on, making it hard to tall what you are do...

Re: What’s the definitive Tetris game?

My vote would ultimately be tetris party deluxe for ds; it's also on wii. Tetris ds was good, but not great. Tetris DS has a lot of Nintendo fanfare. It's very polished in the Presentation. All the extra modes are based on Nintendo characters, but they don't feel like tetris modes, and feel tacked-o...
