Re: Looney Tunes Racing (PS1)

Kart racing is probably my favorite genre of gaming, so I try to play most of the big name ones. This one is very good. It does convey the atmosphere of the cartoons. That music can start to get on my nerves after a while when I'm trying to race. I mainly play this game casually in time trials and s...

Re: VGC Top 20 List - Sports Genre

I’m a huge fan of basketball games, so I’d love to see that list. Soccer and hockey games can be fun.

The one “sport” that came to mind that hasn’t been mentioned is wrestling.

Re: Angry Video Game Nerd Media?

I haven't heard anything about newer episodes being released on dvd, and the cinemassacre links got to amazon, which seems to not have any in stock. I even looked on rooster teeth, which used to sell them, but they no longer have them either. However, Screenwave Media has them. The most recent blura...

NBA 2k Playgrounds 2 (Switch)

This game plays a lot like a modern version of NBA jam, with fast-paced, two-on-two action, and high-flying dunks. There’s also a 3-point contest, which can get a little hectic because you and your competition are shooting from the same side of the court at the same time. Still, this game is a lot o...

Gamestop is starting a new program where you can return a new game within 48 hours if you don't "love" it. This is interesting, you can get a refund of store credit on a $59.99 game.

Re: What do you like/dislike about the site?

yea I just made a post on another thread and it went up right away. Neat. There's nothing I really dislike. Sure, I may not agree with all the reviews, but that's nothing to complain about. That's what makes things interesting, and kind of leads into my main reason of why I like the site so much. Th...

Re: O's Chris Davis 0 for 49!

I play a lot of daily fantasy sports, and Davis is priced way down on some sites. He looks like he is finally getting back in the groove, as he hit a home run today and had another nice game over the weekend. Maybe a symptom of his poor hitting was because he is a power hitter. Those players are kno...

Re: Best Kart Racer of N64/PS1 era?

I love the kart racing genre, especially from that era. There are some lesser-known games from that era, like Toy Story racing, Muppet Race Mania, and Final Fantasy Chocobo racing that I have never played. I did get Looney Tunes Racing a few years ago and it's really good. Mario kart 64 is more base...

Re: What ever happened to arcade style racing games?

thanks for the info about the retail release of Horizon Chase Turbo. I wonder what the price will be. I know it's $20 on the eshop, but I could see a retail release going for $40 just because. I am excited for both Crash and Sonic racing games. I am a huge fan of kart racers, though I do have one fo...

Re: What ever happened to arcade style racing games?

I love kart racing games, but I hate those "realistic" racing games like Grid. Your car hits something and spins around like a bowling pin. That's not fun. And the futuristic games like f-zero, wipeout, and fast racing neo don't appeal to me at all I hear you. I was a huge fan of Burnout R...
