Blu Ray Fail

So I've been having difficulty using Blu Rays with my PS3 lately because apparently it needs to update the encryption key which requires a system update (which I am doing now). From what I understand, all Blu Ray players are like this. I'm sorry, but there is no satisfactory reason you should have t...

Street Fighter 30th Anniversary

I'm thinking about picking this up, but can't decide if I should get the Switch or PS4 version. The Switch version has the benefit of coming on a cartridge, which is nice, but I don't have a decent joystick for my Switch. I don't really have a joystick for my PS4 either, except my X-Arcade solo will...

Re: Microvision System Review

Agree that this belongs in the portable section. I will do that.

Also, that commercial is funny, with the husband playing and his adoring wife watching.

Submarine Attack (Sega Master System)

Being a fan of submarine shooters, I imported this from Europe. I had to say this game has a level of firepower pretty rare in 8-bit games. It kind of throws off the difficulty however, as I was able to breeze through the first few stages with little resistance. Definitely could benefit from some ba...

VGC Tries Virtual Reality

So I was over an old friend's house the other day and his kids immediately set me up with the Playstation 4 VR and the game Until Dawn: Rush of Blood. As a fan of all things Halloween, this was right up my alley. I think I mentioned to them I was the VGC, but to them I was just another old guy tryin...

Re: 2018/8/12: Super Nintendo: Sunset Riders, Prehistorik Man

The Sunset Riders reviews are skewed to reflect the order I was introduced to both titles: Genesis early, SNES much later.
Looks like I'll need to adjust them a bit. Thanks for the feedback.

Sportspad Football (Sega Master System)

Anybody played this? Somebody mentioned it to me at some point and it made its way onto my Wanted list. From what I've read however, it doesn't look worth reviewing. Apparently it is just Great Football with support for the Sportspad controller. The problem is, the Sportspad controller really sucks....
