Re: Call of Duty Bops 4 50 gig day 1 shocker.

Let’s be honest most games are very rarely on disc now, the bulk of the data is downloaded despite having the disc. You can include Switch cartridges with that as well. Things are going digital I’m afraid guys. You are correct Sut, but that doesn't mean we have to just throw up our hands and accept...

Goldenband: I am SHOCKED to discover it's just "Crash Dummies" and not "Crash Test Dummies". You are probably correct that I am thinking of the band, but Crash Dummies just doesn't sound right!

Re: Call of Duty Bops 4 50 gig day 1 shocker.

Here's the thing - Call of Duty Black Ops 4 is trying to follow the FortNite model. It's an online-only, constantly changing game. That is fine! The problem is, by selling it on disc you are giving the impression that the game is actually contained in the box. It's kind of like when they were sellin...

Floppy disks are FAST! It was those old tape-loading games that always killed me! 10 minutes and counting!

2018/10/11: Genesis: Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi, Incredible Crash Test Dummies, The

Here's an enjoyable pair of platformers for the Genesis. Shadow Dancer is a rereview (same grade) but Crash Test Dummies is brand new. Comments?

Re: Until Dawn death count?

Sounds like a challenge! I don't recall my death count of my first play-thru, but this is an excellent excuse to play that game again. It's a classic!!

Re: When aging electronics fail

I agree that classic gaming is a high maintenance hobby. I've had issues with most of my older systems. Fortunately few have been beyond fixing. In some cases I've sent them out to be repaired/upgraded (Virtual Boy, Turbo Duo, Colecovision). In other cases I've had backups on hand (Dreamcast, Atari ...

Re: Super Nintendo Classic Edition Review

With all due respect critic, I really can't see how anyone would expect to have physical manuals with this system. You had the same complaint with the NES classic. The point of these systems is to be plug and play and have a couple of dozen games on one device. Nice and easy. I really wouldn't expe...

Little Nightmares (PS4)

Good looking game, but my kid because embedded in the scenery within five minutes. Does anybody make quality software any more? And this is supposed to be the "Complete Edition"

Re: Call of Duty Bops 4 50 gig day 1 shocker.

This is the hell the internet has wrought. The reason the huge patch is required is because the game wasn't even CLOSE to complete when they put it on disc. They knew people would download the "fixed" version so Activision didn't care. To them physical media is a just a ruse to get you to ...
