Re: Video Game Memories

Rev's GameCube story reminded me of when I got one. You have to remember that when the GameCube came out in Sept 2001 it was a hot time in the industry. I already had a PS2, which I acquired after sleeping overnight outside a Best Buy. I was able to land an Xbox (and Halo) at CompUSA after calling a...

Video Game Memories

I got the idea for this thread from Hershie's Monday Night Football review in the Now Playing section. It's funny how I tend to attach memories to my games. Especially for many games of my younger years I can tell you the exact circumstances surrounding them (where I bought it, who I was playing it ...

2018/10/20: Playstation: MediEvil, Dracula: The Last Sanctuary

This pair of reviews may give me a case of deja-vu, since I just reviewed Dracula: The Resurrection and Medievil 2 just a little while back. Please feel free to critique my reviews - I don't get much feedback nowadays but I'm sure there's room for improvement.

Chilling Thrilling Sounds of the Haunted House

One day at work I was chatting with my friend Brad about Halloween stuff and trying to explain to him that a foghorn in the distance is one of the scariest sounds. I remembered hearing it from a record I heard as a kid. So I got home and did a little research to discover the record is called "C...

The question is, what does this buy you that Retron or Retrofreak does not?

Re: Dave, NASCAR?

Despite being a lover of all sports including Sprint Cars and F1, I've never delved into Nascar. However, I am willing to learn!

If anyone has a good "starter" Nascar game I'd be happy to give it a spin. However, isn't Nascar season coming to an end soon?

Re: Friday the 13th (PS4/XONE/PC)

Sounds like a good time actually! I hope with Halloween they take their time, iron out the bugs, and incorporate a good single-player mode BEFORE shipping.

Then again, game companies these days are all about making money NOW so I'm not holding my breath.

Tesla Car Games?

I'm a little surprised how psyched Elon Musk is about getting Atari games installed in his cars! Good idea or bad?
