Rocko's Modern Life: Static Cling review/rant.

I was very pumped for this when I first saw the trailer a few years back. It looked fantastic. A commentary on the modern day with Rocko? This is awesome! Or so I thought. It begins innocently enough, right where the final episode left off. When Rocko, Heffer, and Philbert return, the world is far a...

Re: Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled (Switch)

The controls are worse on the Switch version from my experience. The PS4 version plays fine. Re: 2019/5/30: Game Boy: Super Mario Land, Duck Tales

Sorry, but SML getting an A+ is simply shortsighted, and I always thought the game was a little cruddy after coming back to it in 2005 for the first time in 15 years. The controls are unresponsive, no matter what system you play it on. The stages are poorly designed, with questionable placement of c...

Re: Songs that defined your childhood?

Gary Numan's "Cars" and Matthew Wilder's "Break My Stride" were always up there with songs I heard a lot when I was younger (around 10). Breakfast in America (the entire album) also echoed around my house a lot in the earlier years (between 6-10). Later on, in my mid teens, I lis...

This is jaw-dropping. I can't believe how great this looks. Can you imagine if we'd gotten that back in the day? It looks better than the freakin' COLECOVISION port!

Amazingly, this game was programmed using a tool called Batari BASIC.

ProTip: get a SNES Classic Mini (official emulation) and fill it with classic ROMs from your favorite systems. https://snesclassicmods.com/

Why not just get a Pi at that point?
