Re: Greatest arcade in known universe near Pittsburgh, PA

Was just there today. Seems some of the stuff has been let go. A lot of the pinball games have problems. That said, the staff is VERY attentive to problems when you inform them there is an issue. Then again, I was the ONLY person there aside from a father and his son. 10 dollar admission on the week...

AVGN Adventures.

It's nothing but trial and error BS. It's not even remotely fun. Only the most rabid fans of the horribly unfunny nerd could find this funny. If they love bad videos, they'll love a bad video game!

I still fail to see the hype behind F-Zero, and the love. Even back in the 90's I thought it was all pretty graphics and not much content.

Re: Super Mario World vs Donkey Kong Country

Kirby's Dream Land 3  No, in all seriousness, Mario World plays far better. The controls are so tight, it's such an incredible playing game. DKC is solid, but I think without it's fancy graphics people wouldn't think it's great, just an above average platformer. DKC 2 on the other hand, ran wit...

Re: Madden Tournament Shooting

Well I guess as long as it doesn't happen to you or somebody you love...no problem! Actually I don't think you are correct that this is happening less then decades ago. In 1989, as far as my research goes, there was ONE school shooting (in KY). Now there is about one or two a quarter. Now I did not...

Re: Madden Tournament Shooting

What's funny is these shootings are far less common than they were decades ago, but the media sensationalizes it to make us all scared. This guys problem was that he was a loser who took his game far too seriously. If he didn't have the gun, he would've bludgeoned somebody. This is an extremely rare...

Still, it was timely! People can definitely relate to that one.

Thing is, I think this game could have potential, in an enviro bear 2000 sort of way.

Re: Getting rid of ding dong ditchers?

Easy. Crack open your doorbell, splice in a switch to a microcontroller, and set a wicked trap.
