Re: Console Design Blunders

Things like these always made me shake my head and wonder why, The short chords of the INTV and CV are very hard to deal with. The Saturn's save memory getting wiped out when the battery dies was another bad decision. But I like everyone else bought a save cart/ 4meg RAM cart which greatly enhance t...

Re: AVGN Reasons Blu Ray Sucks

Blu-ray visuals at 1080P are so much better than DVD. DVD sound is just as good from my perspective, running through my Onkyo 5.1 sound system. Although DVDs tended to use Dolby Digital which is often more boomy than the DTS tracks on my BD's. Streaming is compressed, from my perspective. It may loo...

Re: 2020/2/23: Atari XEGS: Kangaroo, Megamania

I haven't played Kangaroo for many years, ive played the 5200 version which is the same except controllers. I am very familiar with Megamania, loved it on 2600 BITD, and love the A8 version's improved graphics. You have Kangaroo a B and MM a C; me, I'd switch those grades around. Kangaroo is ok but ...

Re: Just saw the “Sonic the Hedgehog” movie.

We saw it last night. I enjoyed it, LOL'd at Jim Carrey and a few other character moments (the loud mouthed sister was pretty funny to me), and I even empathized with Sonic's touching situation a few times. It was fine, but I cant see myself buying it or rewatching it any time soon myself. Some deta...

Re: 2020/2/11: Dreamcast: NHL 2K, NHL 2K2

Not much to say, except I used to enjoy NHL2K2 BITD. It probably doesnt hold up, like most post-16bit hockey games, at least with me. Give me Sega CD NHL94!

Re: 2020/1/28: Playstation 4: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

Review seems fair enough. I just left Kashyyyk and back on Zeffo, lost and can't find a crash site. I've seen numerous bugs too. But it is 100% Star Wars! Enjoying the game but I'm not very good at it.

Re: Star Wars: Jedi: Fallen Order

I'm making slow progress. Still on Zeffo and I died a couple times. My reactions are mixed. I love the Star Wars themes. But so far the gameplay hasn't really captured my attention like Horizon Zero Dawn did. Part of the problem is I have only had time to play in short bouts. I need a 5 hour session...

Re: Star Wars: Jedi: Fallen Order

I finally finished Shenmue III, so started Fallen Order yesterday. I had a bug early on, on the Imperial train. I climber across a wall then onto a post which swings out so you can grab another wall. But I did something it didn't expect and ended up on the floor again, but the camera got stuck on th...
