Re: Star Wars Rise of the Skywalker

Anybody else noticed the Rey could pull a spaceship out of the sky yet Yoda had a hard time with the column falling in Episode 2? Yes but I think that Force abilities have been enhanced in The Clone Wars and SW Rebels series ... and the Sequel Trilogy (plus Rey's lineage) is just following suit. Al...

Although I appreciate the programming of this game, I never found it that much fun.

There are always various A8 ports and the newer homebrews you could review.

Re: Jurassic Park movies

JP > TLW > JP3. And JW = JW2 but not sure how they compare to the OT 3. My rankings. Anyway, JP is the best film (of course) and still holds up well for me. It was phenomenal when it released summer '93. I had already read the book, didn't mind that the film went its own way. I wonder where I stuffe...

Re: 2020/6/14: Wii: Dragon's Lair Trilogy, Shaun White Skateboarding

I have similar thoughts as Retro Strife, although I do have nostalgia for DL and SA, which I beat in the 80s arcades thanks to Joystik magazine's guides. I and my 2 Caf Jr's were all able to beat these 2 games on the PS4 edition thanks to difficulty settings and the pointer arrow helps. SA has some ...

Re: Ray Harryhausen fans?

All the mentioned films with Jason or Sinbad were shown at my middle school auditorium for our assembly breaks. Loved that stuff. Have not seen any of those films since the 80s. I wonder if they are streamable.

My favorite Harryhausen flick is 1 million BC which I own on DVD.

Re: What happened to guitar rock?

I don't know, I would love for some good rock band recommendations. Every now and then I'll hear a new band or new song on the local rock station, but to be honest I haven't liked any of the songs recently. The only artist that has recently satisfied my rock guitar craving has been Buckethead, altho...

Cars was a true disappointment.

Didn't like SM3 at all BITD.
