Re: Foods that you hate or find extremely bland?

Boiled bean soup and sardines. The first because there's just no flavor to it, the mouthfeel is extremely mushy and lumpy, and it looks like something the dog threw up. It was the only meal my mom used to prepare that I just could not eat. As for sardines? Well, that's an easy one. i just can't eat ...

Ugh! Shark Attack is just terrible. It's one of the few 2600 games I've played that I felt like I was wrestling with the controls the whole time I was playing it. And losing...

Re: Most polarizing video games and why?

The first Resident Evil game for the PS1. There's a lot of folks out there that really like that game. But I could never get into it. Mainly because of the controls. They felt so awkward and stiff and I never could get the hang of them whatsoever. Which pretty much ruined the game for me..

OMG! That's awesome

I know, right? It looks almost as good as the NES version. Which is pretty amazing when you think about it..

Re: Best Sports Video Games of All Time!

Is Mike Tyson's Punch-Out a sports game? Good question. You could make the case that it's not an actual sports game but instead a boxing-themed puzzle game. I've never heard of Mike Tyson's Punch Out described like that. And at first, it sounded a little weird. But after thinking about it for a min...

Re: Best Sports Video Games of All Time!

Don't get me wrong, NHL '94 is an awesome game for both the SNES and Genesis. But for me, my favorites will always be NHL '96 and NHLPA Hockey for the Genesis. '96 because of the vast amount of options you have at your disposal ( ie; full season mode, full stats, create a player feature and trades) ...

Re: Super Mario Land (GB)

This game is criminally underrated imho. Now, I don't know if this is because a Game Boy game. But to me, it more than holds it's own when compared to the 8 bit SMB games that were released on the NES around the same time...

I agree. It's pretty surprising to see the lack of game reviews for the system on this site. Especially when you take into account the sheer amount of games released for the Game Boy during it's lifespan..
