Re: 2020/3/14: Genesis: NBA Action '94, NBA Action '95, Shaq-Fu

First off, Michael Jordan temporarily retired from basketball at the time so he could try his hand at baseball - a move that never panned out. That's okay, he returned for three more championships. One does wonder if he missed two championships during the years he took off. Second, I was not aware ...

Re: Your Favorite Multi-Genre video games?

Hmm.. Probably The Guardian Legend, which combined vertical shooting boss levels with Zelda styled RPG game play mechanics. And very well too, may I add.

Re: Kickman and Pink Panther prototypes

I recently downloaded both these ROMS to play on my Atari Flashback portable, and I really like Kickman. But unfortunately, I cannot get the ROM for The Pink Panther to work. Is it because the ROM itself is defective? Or is it just not compatible with the Flashback portable...

I think he hit the nail firmly on the head with his latest video regarding the MK1 games. And hopefully, he'll do a video on all the console releases for MK2 and MK3 sometime in the future...

Re: Physical game collectors: how many of your games are in like new condition and/or complete?

So what percentage of my games in my collection are in mint or near mint condition? I'd have to say probably less than 10%. Most of them I bought second hand at a second hand video game store, were given to me by older relatives when they grew out of them, or acquired in a trade with someone. So as ...

Thanks. I appreciate the input. Cheers.

Re: Can't beat classic hockey

On top of those old games being good, there was also the players (maybe the golden age of hockey perhaps). There was Gretzky, Robitaille, Lemioux, Jagr, Fedorov, Yzerman, Messier, Sweeney, Roenick, Belfour, Roy. And way more fighting than there is now. Back then most teams had an enforcer who'd get...

Re: Can't beat classic hockey

To me, NHL '96 for the Genesis is the best 16 bit era hockey game. Followed by NHLPA "93. Again, for the Genesis. Some of the other hockey games that came out around this time frame were also pretty decent. But these two are the ones I keep coming back to on the regular. I've been playing a lot...

To me, it looks like a modernized version of the old arcade game Super Sprint. And yes, here's hoping it plays as good as it looks...
