Re: 2019/10/6: Atari 2600: Warlords, Medieval Mayhem

In another thread, Rampart was brought to my attention, and warlords looks very much like that. I remember loving that game so much. Warlords just might be the classic game I need. Of course, I'd need some friends to play it with... all my old gamer buds have gone to different corners of the country...

Re: 2019/9/28: Bally Astrocade: Artillery Duel, Pseudo-ku 2008

That is essentially the issue there, and why I mainly gravitate to RPGs. I don't have a social gaming group that I can play and compete with. I would love that, but so far all my efforts haven't quite worked out. Even back then I mainly played dungeon crawlers, MUDs, and the like. But man... playing...

Re: 2019/9/28: Bally Astrocade: Artillery Duel, Pseudo-ku 2008

While I love reading about these old games and systems, I've tried some old CPU games on Emulation and have gotten a few of those atari flashback consoles in over the years and played them... and seriously power to you guys that can still play these titles, especially in their original form. I can h...

Re: Eco-Friendly Packaging?

I work at a thrift store and I can tell you that people toss cases out all the time. Discs too. You guys who are genuine collectors are the minority of consumers, not the majority. It is actually a really good argument for digital gaming. No discs, cases, etc. to be made and thrown away. And yes, I ...

Undertale (Switch)

While I'm only a few hours in now, Undertale is really funny, and really enjoyable. Having it in portable form on the Switch just makes it even better. I just finished my 'date' with Papyrus and was laughing pretty much the whole time. Highly, highly recommended, and it's only 10 bucks on the Ninten...

Re: what are your favorite remakes or sequels?

I have yet to play the RE2 remake, but it is definitely on my list. But there is a similar answer to the question from me, remake is the GameCube version of Resident Evil. The graphics, story enhancement, and gameplay enhancement (While still being the original kind of funky control and camera style...

My love of MvC2 would want to debate this. But I do feel that the general idea is sound. I just think it went a little bit further than Dead or Alive...

Re: Frankenstein: Through the Eyes of the Monster (Sega CD)

The Saturn Unlocker makes your saturn able to play any region. I don't know if Psuedo-Saturn does the same thing, but if it does you should be fine.

Re: PS1 Suggestions

If you want a Zelda-like action-adventure, you might want to check out Alundra. To be honest I've never played it, but it is supposedly one of the best Zelda clones out there. I think it might be a little pricey now, but if you have a PS3, you can get the digital version for like 5 or 6 bucks in th...
