Re: PS1 Suggestions

If you want a Zelda-like action-adventure, you might want to check out Alundra. To be honest I've never played it, but it is supposedly one of the best Zelda clones out there. I think it might be a little pricey now, but if you have a PS3, you can get the digital version for like 5 or 6 bucks in th...

Re: PS1 Suggestions

I would put Brave Fencer Musashi on the list as well. Not the greatest game in the world, but it is a Square adventure game.

Re: The New Bond?

I take it all the complaining by Daniel Craig was just posturing to get a bigger contract. I mean, who wouldn't want to be James Friggin Bond?!? And while the plot of Specter was far-fetched, I enjoyed the film. I wouldn't say the series is on life support considering the last two broke the bank at...

Re: The New Bond?

Bond has been stale for awhile, so changing up the formula is welcome on my end. As for Daniel Craig, yes, he is probably the best bond overall. However, he has been wanting out of this series since after quantum of solace. He personally doesn't enjoy playing James Bond. The only reason he did spect...

Re: Pseudo Saturn?

The Saturn Unlocker is more pricey at 60, but it would play it.

Re: Maintenance on old systems. (Dreamcast specifically)

Update: My new Dreamcast arrived yesterday, and I gave it a shot. It works great. Games that were having a really hard time, like Soul Caliber, work fine. And MvC2 works better than ever, even though it now looks way more scratched thanks to that disk doctor. All the music works, it runs at full spe...

Re: Top Gear (SNES)

Yes, it's arcade style, but it does have a fuel meter, so you do have to make pit stops on longer races.

Top Gear (SNES)

I've been revisiting a lot of my old games lately, and I popped in Top Gear for the first time in years. This game is absolutely fantastic. Definite top 3 racing games on the system. It is up there with the quality of F-Zero, no kidding! The Critic definitely needs to get his hands on this game. It ...

Re: Has anyone actually ever repaired a game disc without resurfacing?

I tried a disk doctor repair thing. It wasn't the hand crank kind, it was a plug in and it looked really nice and high end. Did it work? Absolutely not. The disk I put in it looks worse than before.

Re: Maintenance on old systems. (Dreamcast specifically)

Well... update. And not a good one. My Dreamcast seems to have officially crapped out. It won't read any of my games. I only have 5 at this point, (several didn't make it up in my move from California... ugh.) but 2 weeks ago I played Zombie Revenge, which wasn't working for literally years and the ...
