Have you had a chance to try the component cables? How big of an improvement is it? I am very interesting in doing some kind of upgrade my self.

Re: Christmas Review Special

And while this isn't a game, if you want to watch a ridiculous christmas movie, Santa Claus Conquers the Martians is a really fun stupid watch. It's from 1964, so you have to be ok with that style of film, (And it is bad for even the 60's.) But it has several lough out loud bad parts. https://www.im...

Re: Xbox HL2

I still view The Orange Box as fantastic value. Portal is definitely worth a playthrough a year, and while they never quite got around to Episode 3, it is a really engrossing play through.

Re: Most Innovative Games?

The Portal games are unlike anything else, even if they are technically in the Half-Life universe. I 100% second this. The cake is a lie. "Apple. No, you jumped again..." Fantastic dialogue and terrific gameplay. I also want to 2nd C64 Critics comments on Wizardry. It spawned an absolutel...

Re: Hard Pass from me on PS1 Classic

I'd be more forgiving if Japan wasn't getting Parasite Eve vs. our worst possible version of Rainbow 6. Japan is getting Parasite Eve? That is seriously not fair! /Used to own both 1+2, I have no clue what happened to them. Maybe I sold them to Gamestop? I genuinely cannot remember where they went....

I very much second this idea. Pairing a game with a good drink is fantastic, and I love hearing about different beers from around the country.

I second the launch title idea. That is a good one. And I assure you people read your reviews even if we don't comment. I just haven't played either one of these so I have no frame of reference.

Re: Chrono Trigger (Super NES)

I'm actually going through my 16-32 bit RPGs right now, bit of a nostalgia run. And I beat Chrono Trigger a few months ago now and am going through Final Fantasy III (6). And I'm agreeing with the original poster. I used to like both MarioRPG and Final Fantasy III more than this, and now that I'm ol...
