Re: 2019/4/14: NES: Final Fantasy (Guest Review), Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom

ThePixelatedGenocide: You don't need to use save states or anything to enjoy Final Fantasy 1. Wizardry 1 honestly needs that, which Matchstick and I are talking about in a side tangent a bit. That game is honestly much, much more "broken" in that way than Final Fantasy 1. FF1 can be beaten...

A few things - Another call on "yes this is inspired by D&D." We really owe a lot to that old game. (Which not to brag or anything, but I've played every edition out.) - Matchstick, you've beaten the original Wizardry? Major props, I could never get past the the floor with all the tele...

Re: Standard Def 4:3 TVs

Yeah, thought I'd bring this up again Have you considered switching to RGB monitors? They are a little more expensive but are the ultimate in image quality if you ask me. I had a nice one that I had to leave behind in a move. In hindsight I wish I had offered it to someone on this forum for the pri...

Re: POLL: What current gen systems do you own? AND, does anyone own and play their Xbox One?

I own a Switch and an X-Box One. The Switch my wife bought me for a birthday present last month, and I LOVE it. I have smash bros. and BOTW, and BOTW is frankly the best game I've played in a while. It is really good. I absolutely love the Switch. The X-Box One came into our thrift store, it works f...

Simply going to say the fact that your phone has GPS means the earth being flat is BS. Satellites don't work around a disk. (In fact, orbits don't work around a flat disk, period.)

Absolute fantastic work on the prank review, seriously well done.

Re: 2019/3/20: Nintendo 64: Super Mario 64, Namco Museum 64

I don't want to get super verbose... but Mario 64 is very much A+ material. It is still, to this day, one of my all time favorite N64 games. It has aged much better than Goldeneye or Perfect Dark, and is definitely a better game than shadows of the empire.

My 2 cents, take it for what it's worth.

The fact that you need to clarify that makes me feel old.

Re: 2019/1/27: NES: Code Name: Viper, Power Blade

Power Blade is one of the last games I bought for the NES when I still owned it back in the 90's.

Really wish I still had this one around, it has really gone up in value, and I remember it being a really good game.

Re: 2019/1/3: Nintendo Switch: Slain: Back From Hell

I think you meant to say "Iron Maiden" album cover, not "Iron Maid." Then again, maybe there is a metal band I don't know about by that name.
