Re: 2019/4/20: Nintendo Switch: Hollow Knight

I was loving me some Hollow Knight until I got to the point where you are fighting two bosses at the same time! Impossible! I like this game but after about 13 hours in I don't think it worth of the A+ title. Too much backtracking and the 'fast" travel system is not helpful at all! A-/B+

Re: Avengers Endgame Movie

I liked the movie but I have really low expectations. I enjoyed them exploring the "human" element of these superheroes but the movie was just too long! I thought the scene with Hawkeye in Japan was completely pointless (that's 10 minutes right there!). Overall I found a lot to like in all...

Re: 2019/4/20: Nintendo Switch: Hollow Knight

I would also pick Axiom. I like Hollow Knight (currently playing it) but I HATE the go get your soul thing when you die! Also, in HK you are woefully outgunned all the time. Meaning that your little sword isn't much help on some of the more difficult enemies. Don't get me wrong, I like HK, not sure ...

Re: Favorite '80s Albums

The 80's! Now we are talking. Probably the greatest decade of all time! Of course I grew up in that decade so I am sure nostalgia has something to do about that opinion. Anyway....80's albums...here you go: Big Country: The Crossing (Greatest Album Ever!) Big Country: Steeltown Big Country: The Seer...

Re: 2019/4/20: Nintendo Switch: Hollow Knight

Great review. I downloaded this game last night and at $15 it's a steal. I am enjoying it but the map doesn't make a lot of sense to me. How do I know where the heck I am at on the map? Am I missing something. There doesn't seem to be anything on the map that marks my current location. Anyway, thank...

Re: What do you like/dislike about the site?

Been coming here for years and I enjoy the site. I even visit it when I am not "into" video games as I enjoy reading the reviews. VGC don't ever get "woke", be who you are and write what you want. If people don't like it they can go somewhere else. People have already mentioned y...

Re: Stranger Things (Netflix)

My favorite part of Season 2 was the arcade scenes, and I liked how Dig Dug played a role in the story. Probably the best part of the show for me. Otherwise it’s pretty meh. Kids are annoying. Not enough action. Too much suspense without delivering . Haters gotta hate! Just kidding. I love the show...

Re: 2019/3/26: Playstation 4: God of War

I totally agree with your review although I can appreciate Sony trying to do something different. I loved the other God of War games but this one just did not grab me. The slow, plodding pace felt like a chore to me until finally, I just turned it off and traded it in.

Re: The 55 dollar question...

I got the C-64 Mini for Christmas...haven't really touched the thing. The game selection is terrible. Yes, I know you can add games but it is not that easy, most of the games you download do not work. Plus, any games that originally had multi floppy disks are a chore to get to work. Just my two cents.

!

I have been coming to this site off and on for probably 15+ years. I am not into retro gaming but I do enjoy reading the reviews. Congrats on (almost) 20 years. Not sure how or why you do it but I am glad that you do. Simply put, there just isn't anything like this on the internet. I agree with the ...
