Re: Records vs. CDs vs. digital music

Great topic. I am a HUGE music fan and think I have fairly eclectic tastes. I grew up in the 80's so my focus is on music during those years plus or minus a few. Anyway, about five years ago I went digital. At one point I had 700 to 800 cd's and even though I kept them organized I just did not want ...

Re: C64 mini

The C-64 was my main gaming device when I was a kid in the 80's. Loved it! For whatever reason, I haven't tracked down a C-64 to relive those days. However, I did put this on my Christmas list so hopefully Santa (wife) is good to me. If not I will just get it myself after the holidays. Anyway, thank...

Re: Slain: Back From Hell (Switch)

This game is always on sale in the eShop, I might give it a try. If you are looking for an "old school" challenge I would recommend "The Messenger". It definitely has that "try, try again" thing going for it.

Re: New Arcade Systems for $300

I saw one of these at Walmart as well, fully setup. It's soooo short and looks pretty cheaply made... It looks a lot less impressive once it's setup. This is definitely not a replacement to having an actual arcade machine. I was all for the idea but I'm not a fan of the execution. I totally agree. ...

Very cool. What is that pad thing to the right (top of picture) of the Atari?

Re: Red Dead Redemption II install process from hell

It gets kind of old that you keep complaining about install times. It's 2018, deal with it. This isn't the Atari or NES era any longer! If it bothers you that much DON"T BUY THE GAMES! By the way I will bet you will hate this game!

Re: Sears files for bankruptcy

bummer. Once upon a time Sears was a magical place my parents shopped at, and I snuck off to play the latest video-games at the kiosks they had setup in store. In some strange alternate universe that new Atari-box VCS is selling strong as a Sears Tele-Games branded product; and I'm circling the sys...

Re: Super Nintendo Classic Edition Review

Great review and always a pleasant read. I love my SNES classic. I missed out on most of these games "back in the day" so it is fun to be able to enjoy them now at a very reasonable price. My only complaint is that 20 games seems a bit light. I would recommend the 8bitdo wireless controlle...

Re: Upcoming Holiday Games?

Three I'm interested in are Mario Party (Switch), Spiderman (PS4), and Forza Horizon 4 (XB1). I have played Spiderman and finished it, I think you will like it but would be interested in what you have to say. I just picked up Mario Party and am having fun playing the game with my daughter. Pick em ...

Re: 2018/10/7: Atari 2600: Sneak n' Peek, Spider-Man

I remember playing Spiderman for the 2600! I think it is one of the last games I bought for the 2600 before I sold it and invested thousands of hours into my C-64. I liked the game a ton as it was pretty challenging. Great review, keep up the great work!
