Re: Final Fantasy X (again)

Final Fantasy X is nothing short of awesome.

However, I actually prefer Final Fantasy IX.

Perhaps that makes me an oddball...

Re: should i buy the nintendo switch lite ?

Wow, what terrible luck! I’ve owned every Nintendo console (besides a switch) and most handhelds and never had an issue besides having to blow in the cartridge slot of my NES, which is just part of the deal. I’m glad to hear you got replacements, but with that history, I can understand your frustra...

Re: Eco-Friendly Packaging?

I think it's a great, great idea. I'm totally kidding. Honestly, what got my interest in the comments to that article more than anything was the assertion from someone that everyone ought to go digital in 2019 as companies shouldn't even bother to sell physical copies of games anymore. I'm sure that...

Re: Touch screens going away?

I still enjoy the heck out of the Wii U. The touch screen made games like "Rayman Legends" unique and fun as heck. However, the touch screen was rarely utilized well on the Wii U and, at times, was an annoyance (i.e., "Star Fox Zero). That's the real shame about the Wii U -- the touch...

Re: Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled (Switch)

Got this for the PS4 and enjoyed it. I'll agree that the adventure mode is weirdly difficult, but I never liked it in the original CTR for the PS1, either. This is a great one to play against my wife (we had a blast playing CTR into the wee hours of the morning after we were first married) and this ...

Re: Will you miss Game Stop

I honestly never shopped much at Game Stop. Game X Change has had my business since its first store opened in Springdale, Ark., around 1993 or so. That company is located in only 12 states (mostly in the South) and seems to be doing quite well (at least in these parts). The store in my neck of the w...

I love Shovel Knight -- great platformer on a system that's got a lot of great platformers.

Re: Best Kart Racer of N64/PS1 era?

Crash Team Racing, hands down. My wife and I played the heck out of that thing when it first came out, and we are certainly getting the remastered version for the PS4 when it is released in June. I hate the adventure mode in CTR, but the head-to-head, split-screen insanity is absolutely fantastic.

Re: 2019/4/1: Xbox One: Sid Meier's Civilization: Flat Earth Edition

Does the game map rest on the back of a giant turtle? And does that turtle rest on the back of an even bigger turtle? Is it really turtles all the way down? That's partially right. It actually rests on the back of four elephants. The elephants, of course, rest on the back of a giant turtle which, i...
