Re: Ebay: Then and Now

I remember the bad old days of eBay. Back then there were a plethora of sellers that would gladly leave negative feedback to buyers if they left neutral or negative feedback. Got ripped off by a seller and left a neg? Surprise surprise your 100% feedback rating has been trashed by the seller that ri...

Re: What if AMD stuck with Nintendo and Nvidia never partnered with them?

AMD forms the processing front end of the hardware on the Xbox and PS4. The Switch doing so well is an anomaly particularly considering it could potentially outsell the PS4 once this generation is done with. I think it has already outsold the Xbox in total sales. To your question, the Nvidia Tegra X...

Re: No Game of Thrones games?

Game of Thrones would be a difficult one to develop in a manner that would not ruffle some feathers. The TV series had a lot of mature content. Nudity, incest, violence, you name it. A gaming developer would be in a position "damned if they do damned if they do not" regarding developing a ...

Re: Favorite console gen graphic leaps.

Wow you put a tremendous amount of effort in that I appreciate it. As for generational leaps, the era that moved from PS2->PS3, Xbox-Xbox360 was very noticeable. I recall trying to build a PC in 2006 that could render games like the PS3/Xbox360 and came up quite short despite spending thousands. The...

Re: It almost here.

I juat hope it get 80+ on Metacritic that all. I do not really know about Metacritic. Zelda Breath of the Wild got a lot of Zero's in User reviews. Really? A Zero. I get it, game opinions, subjective, but a Zero is a s##t score, there is no lower. Negative numbers purposely not used to avoid zero b...

Re: Mortal Kombat 11

I stopped by the local Best Buy. This store is rapidly becoming redundant. Sad... Lots of stuff at my local is now on a per order basis- take card to front they order you pick up or they deliver. Sad. Their PC and Laptop selection, while carrying somewhat decent items (Surface Books, Razer Blade La...

Re: Saturn Virtua Fighter?

I feel like I need to review these games because of their place in history. I vaguely recall Saturn fans being really unhappy with the early version of this game, especially when the system was going up against the PS1. The Saturn version was a rush job and there were graphical glitches galore. It ...

Re: Saturn Virtua Fighter?

I'm using this as an excuse to order some Saturn games, namely the original Virtua Fighter (Japan) and Virtua Fighter Remix. It'll also give me better perspective on Virtua Fighter 2. Do not expect too much from VF1 - it is very chunky and limited. A good first effort, I guess, but I am being kind ...

Re: It almost here.

I played the 8bit style game last year. While similar to Castlevania III and somewhat short lived, it was a decent game. This Bloodstained derives inspiration from Symphony of the Night, a title that is possibly my favorite game of all time. Needless to say I am anxious for Bloodstained to come out....
