Re: Switch vs PS4 vs Xbox One in terms of platformers?

Exclusives? Yeah agreed, the Switch for the win here. Kinda funny that Crash Bandicoot also ended up on it, was Crash not Sony exclusive once upon a time ago? To be honest though, most of the best platforming games nowadays are Indie titles. Indie releases tend to cross over on all the consoles and ...

Re: POLL: What current gen systems do you own? AND, does anyone own and play their Xbox One?

I guess the other question is does anyone own the suped up versions of the consoles? I did not get an Xbox until the Xbox One X. I pretty much bought the X for backwards compatibility and to play Red Dead Redemption. The PS4 I ended up getting the Pro since the original PS4 I bought the disc drive ...

Re: POLL: What current gen systems do you own? AND, does anyone own and play their Xbox One?

Own all three. I do game on the Xbox. Most recent purchase was Red Dead Redemption 2. My preferred gaming device is my PC, partially because I am on it most the day. Console wise, I like the Switch best, followed by PS4. Xbox One X is a great bit of kit, shame the exclusives also come out on the PC....

Re: 2019/4/1: Xbox One: Sid Meier's Civilization: Flat Earth Edition

I'm struggling to understand this too. He apparently has faith in Antarctica's existence based on the accounts of people who have been there, but he refuses to accept their descriptions of its size and shape, only that it's cold and far away. Why even believe in Antarctica at that point? (Not to me...

How does he think the planes he works on get to their destinations when their itineraries are determined according to a spherical surface? And planes are only a recent development in centuries of world travel built on coordinates that would completely fall apart on a flat Earth. There is no physica...

Definitely not nuts, I have a friend who believes the world is flat and he works as an Engineer for Boeing. Smart guy and completely sane.

Re: 2019/3/26: Playstation 4: God of War

It's funny to me that some people actually imagine the Switch as "next gen" rather than properly grouping it with the PS4 and Xbox One generation. Yeah, similar to Dreamcast which slotted between two gens. Dreamcast was way ahead of it's competition though when it was released, the Switch...

Re: 2019/4/1: Xbox One: Sid Meier's Civilization: Flat Earth Edition

Well I do actually have a friend who believes in the Flat Earth. They believe Antarctica surrounds the Earth as an Ice Wall, much like the Wall in Game of Thrones that keeps the White Walkers out. Very nice guy actually, would give you the shirt on his back, just a fellow with an odd belief and watc...

The thing is ssocial media loves to complain on things like Gamefaqs, Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc. Is it me or is the internet to pessimistic? Certain sites are a cesspool of people embracing their neuroses online, desperate for attention. The upvote/downvote button, in my opinion, has p...

Re: 2019/3/26: Playstation 4: God of War

To be frank when I look at the critics reviews for current gen on this site (PS4/Xbox One Wii U before being replaced with Switch.) It just looks like the critic is not crazy at all about this gen as it full of mediocrity. If the gen was so great their would have been more A grade games or higher o...
