Re: Super Castlevania IV Retrospective

I forgot all about this thread. I replayed Bloodlines a few weeks back. Better graphics and general gameplay than SCIV but I did prefer the music and cohesion of SCIV. I guess if I had to choose it would be Bloodlines - SCIV is just too darn easy and the limitations of the SNES they could not put ma...

Re: Dead or Alive 6 (PS4)

I wonder about this same issue myself. To my knowledge, many of the most recently released Japanese fighting games were not very profitable, if they were profitable at all - Soul Calibur 6, Tekken 7, Street Fighter V, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Street Fighter X Tekken, King of Fighters XIV, Marvel vs...

Re: Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

So far Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is the closest thing to a AAA Kickstarter success store we have, it a shame the Switch port is such a hot mess, because if MK 11 can hit 60 using the older UE3 tech, then Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on Switch could have been 60 which is inexcusable as ...

Re: Most polarizing video games and why?

After you check out the DF Retro video and all the Yooka-Laylee related links give your two cents? I did read and watch, thanks. Opinions? Well I thought Yooka Laylee was quite good I did not hate it so much. True A Hat in Time was a lot better but there are certainly worse games out there. Lots of...

Re: Dead or Alive 6 (PS4)

The DLC practices where not very good and a shame to that the game, flopped. It could have gotten a late Switch port as an Switch Pro exclusive due to hardware limitations, But because this game did poorly it unlikely and considering the DOA series is not popular on Nintendo does not help either. S...

Shovel Knight was a fantastic game, A- is fair. I also played this on the WiiU.

Re: Dead or Alive 6 (PS4)

I would not bet against that bikini/underwear costumes with this title. Sales not great they will try rake it in through DLC. That yields the biggest bugbear I have: https://store.steampowered.com/app/838380/DEAD_OR_ALIVE_6/ I am not a fan of buying content AFTER I have purchased the game. I am even...

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

Downloaded it on Steam, 10% off. Hard copy exists on the Consoles. Heard that there were a few bugs on the Switch version. The Steam version I have found a couple of game breaking glitches. The PS4 version right now is best and "nearly" problem free. All versions will no doubt get the stat...
