it's funny i owned an Atari 800xl in 1985 thu 1988 and downloaded and bought hundreds of games during that time and i don't remember Getaway at all! lol

Did you see that the guy that was designing it quit? He's the same guy that originally designed the Xbox. He hadn't got paid in 6 months. Now, he's doing a kickstarter for a digital board game. It actually looks pretty cool. If it takes off I wouldn't mind buying one, it looks cool. a couple years ...

That is essentially the issue there, and why I mainly gravitate to RPGs. I don't have a social gaming group that I can play and compete with. I would love that, but so far all my efforts haven't quite worked out. Even back then I mainly played dungeon crawlers, MUDs, and the like. But man... playin...

around 1982 i went to the mall to get Intellivision games and in Montgomery Wards in the video game section they had an Astrocade on display with Incredible Wizard and it did look pretty cool..thats the only store i remember that carried Astrocade games at the time..i'm sure Toys R Us did at some po...
