Re: New Bunny Rabbit Icon!

This icon was inspired by the Gun-Nac feedback thread, and created by Mark Jewell. I had some fun with this. I did a little text search of my reviews to find appropriate games, and readers in the Gun-Nac thread let me in on some of the more obscure rabbit appearances. Here's what I got so far - ope...

You do not have to use this phrasing, but I thought it would be amusing and contextually appropriate given that rabbits are typically represented this way in gaming:
"May contain bothersome bunnies!"

Re: Super Mario Odyssey

Super Mario 2 was awesome. It had a fantastic base game to work itself around called Doki Doki Panic. That said, hard to put it above 3 or SMW in the pecking order but certainly a better game than the originally intended sequel which was just more of what we saw in the original SM. I second this BI...

Re: Super Mario Odyssey

Been playing some New Super Mario, and man, is it by far my least favorite. I hate the physics, don’t like Mario’s extra moves, and the graphics are ugly. Which New Super Mario Bros. game are you referring to? I will admit the Wii, Wii U and Switch games are pretty mediocre in terms of giving you t...

Re: Nintendo lied about censorship with games.

I originally chose not to get involved with this thread due to all the discourse, but after reading these last few replies as well as many other threads across this board, I have a newfound appreciation for this community. Sonic, out of all the forums and group discussion boards I have visited in my...

Re: The Nintendo Switch game ports are like the modern equivalent to the Sega Saturn ports!

1st point, In certain area Switch has it better then the Xbox One like indies and mid tear or smaller Japanese support, but when it comes to certain 3rd party multi console ports, the Switch has it worse with some of the examples I mentioned above. Sure. There is more support for Japanese titles, b...

Re: The Nintendo Switch game ports are like the modern equivalent to the Sega Saturn ports!

It makes me very sad the Nintendo Switch is treated like a second class citizen compared to the PS4 and lesser degree the Xbox One, just like how the Sega Saturn was compared to the PS1 and N64, and I think it even more inexcusable as we should be past the days of bad game boy era Mortal Kombat por...

Re: Games the VGC Didn't Review (Yet), for Systems Nearing Completion

I noticed you covered quite a few Kirby titles with one of them being the Dream Collection. I would love to read a more in depth review for some of these games, especially Kirby's Dreamland 3 and Kirby 64. I do not know if you plan on revisiting any of these games anytime soon, so I am more than hap...

Re: Spyro the Dragon

Very interesting perspectives, guys! I knew a lot of people growing up that were not as fond of this game like I was (collectathon games are a very niche sub-genre of gaming). Personally, I never got into Spyro. I had the benefit of playing it both in the 90s and in the past year. Back in like '98 o...

Spyro the Dragon

When I was four, I got a PS1 for Christmas and one of the games was Spyro the Dragon. While most kids on the neighborhood block got an N64 with Banjo-Kazooie or Super Mario 64, I was busy exploring an awesome 3-D world with collectibles placed all over the game. The fact that you get to play as a fi...
