Re: 2018/8/10: Playstation: The Mummy, The Simpsons Wrestling

You mentioned that the Simpsons Wrestling was surprisingly popular back in the day. Was it really? I know it was released for a lot of consoles but didn't realize it sold well. If it did, that is pretty shocking because I remember it getting torn apart on reviews back then.

Anyway, good review!

Re: All the way through?

Played Halo 3 and Halo 3 ODST through to completion on co-op. Really liked Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST was a bit different but was sort of fun. The only thing I didn't like was the constant switching from multiple characters, especially every time I had to play the city stages... Those stages felt quite bar...

Re: Gamers of Today?

So I think today there are two sets of gamers- modern gamers and retro gamers. While I'm sure this could be broken down even further, I think this gives a general sense of the two categories of gamers (that I've seen). I think the number of retro gamers have been growing and growing over the last te...

So normally we try to avoid locking threads as there can always be future insight or thoughts about a topic; however, I think this topic has kind of run its course. I'm going to go ahead and lock it.

Re: Hotline Miami (PS3/Vita/PC, 2013)

Yeah, this is definitely a game that has a semi-difficult nature however if you aren't going for A+ ranks on each stage it isn't too bad. You really just need to throw yourself at the levels little by little until you figure out the best ways to beat the stages. Helpful stuff I figured out as I play...

Re: Sticky controllers

I was going to recommend Goo Gone but then saw that you mentioned it... Pretty much for all sticky problems I always resort to Goo Gone. Weird that your controllers did that. I have never had that problem.

Re: Super Mario Odyssey vs. Breath Of The Wild

Honestly, now that I've finished Super Mario Odyssey and had some time away from it I have to say that Super Mario Odyssey is one of my least favorite Mario games. I think it nails a lot of aspects but when you boil down the gameplay it is very limited. The amazing jumping moves that Mario can compl...

Re: Motion control in theory

I think after living and surviving the Wii craze it is safe to say most people don't want anything to do with motion anymore. However, I think that is a bit sad as there are many games that offer benefits off "precise" motion controls. Where the medium gets a bad name is from all the games...

Re: The Horror Movie Lovers Thread

Watched a couple of import horror films: -Killing Ground- This one is entirely english (maybe from Australia). Solid horror film that takes place from a few perspectives, with the main couple, the hunters, and a family of victims. You aren't entirely sure on the timeline right from the start but as ...
