Re: PS2 HDMI Adapter

It looks similar to these type of PS2 HDMI adapters (scroll down this link a bit.)

If this Pound one plays nice with PS1 games, it would be superior to the cheap one I got.

Re: C64 mini

Weird thought...you could run stuff like word processors or Printshop on this thing. Wonder if you could get a printer to work with them? A USB to Centronics adapter/cable that would work with an old Epson compatible printer...yeah, I know, goofy thought.

Dave, NASCAR?

I was looking at some used Wii games at GameStop the other night, and wanted to do some "research" on a game, and after a site search realized the critic has never reviewed a NASCAR game. That was surprising, considering the many racing game reviews including F1, Rally, and Indy games... D...

Interesting how you rated this (and Limbo...seems like similar type of games) so low. Just for grins, give Inside a try, there's a physical version that comes with a current gen copy of Limbo...

Re: Games so bad you have to shut it off

This reminded me of the Dreamcast game Kiss: Psycho Circus. Holy crap...what a cluster... Not fun, clunky, never got very far into it because I just gave up. Huh. I've actually heard good things about that one... but I also know that it was made by people from the Daikatana development team. I real...

Re: Who didn't own a NES in the 80's?

I think my experience is similar to Dave's, Pong (clone) in the late 70's, 2600 in the early 80's, Atari 800XL about 1985...which lasted through college (gotta love a VT52 terminal emulator running through a 300 baud modem!) No new video game hardware until getting a Game Gear in about 1993. Needles...

Re: Free Xbox Hardware Plan?

Didn't Microsoft try something like this year's ago? Get an Xbox 360 (or maybe it was the original Xbox) console for a certain amount each month if you sign-up for two or three years of Xbox Live? Maybe you just got the console cheaper up-front if you agreed to a fairly lengthy Live contract... Does...

Re: NES Classic best selling console

I guess I'm partly to blame... WallyWorld had a few a week ago, so I bought one. I don't even care for many NES games (I'm an old 2600 guy). But it's got good Donkey Kong/Pac Man/Galaga... Weird how this stuff works-out..
