Re: Will you miss Game Stop

Saw some rumblings on the Interwebz that half the Gamestops are going to be closed at the end of Q4. Must be taking management tips from Thanos...

Re: Unsupported Video Signal for PS1 games on PS2?

Funny you post that screen shot now. I'm in the process of trying to re-hookup a bunch of systems in my "Beta Setup". Started a list of systems, adapters, switches, and TV inputs, as well as what needs power.

Yikes...maybe this isn't such a good idea :D

Re: PS1 Suggestions

Not sure if you're into Disney stuff, but my kids used to play the 102 Dalmations and Atlantis games. Dalmatians was more of a 3D platformer, but Atlantis was very Tomb Raider-esque. I don't remember all of the Disney stuff released at the time...seems like there was A Bugs Life and Emperors New Gro...

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. Never played the PlayStation version, but have played it on Dreamcast. It's not bad.

Nobody cares...except you. Let it go. Drop the "infamous", "dumpster fire", "hard-no", "Jim Sterling says...* (Whoever the hell that is) nonsense. Think for yourself and ignore the nonsense. Stop wasting your time looking for drama. Play some games, have some fun.....

Re: Nintendo Switch Lite announced

This is the opposite of what it would take for me to get a Switch. I might consider one if they'd make a screen-less, TV-only miniconsole.

Bye-bye 3DS...your days are really numbered now...

I turn off. Most also get full power-off via extension cord power-switch.

Re: Ever buy a console for one specific game?

I didn't buy (or seriously consider) a Wii U until Mario Kart 8. Since then, I've gotten lots on enjoyment out of the little black box. Still no great want to get a Switch, though...

Re: Hydro Thunder (Dreamcast)

Yeah, my "Hot! New!" version works fine with VGA.

Agree, this is a great arcade racer. Got it on DC, PS2 Midway Hits, and even recent!y got PS1 versjon , just for the heck of it. Grainy graphics with so-so frame rate, but amazing how that they could get it to work with the PS1.
