Found a typo. First sentence is missing the word "this".

Re: The 55 dollar question...

Well, ended-up getting a Raspberry Pi with a case. Installed the Raspbian OS on one micro SD card, and RetroPie on another. I'm sure you could install both on one card and choose which one to boot to, but I like the separation of "business" and "fun." Runs fine, neat little compu...

The 55 dollar question...

If you had $55 just burning a hole in your pocket, which option would you choose (and why)... 1. A PS1 Classic 2. A C64 Mini 3. A Raspberry Pi 3B+ with case/fan I know the PS1 Classic has gotten a lot of grief, but the collector in me kind of wants one. The C64 could be fun, as much for hooking up a...

Re: VGA to HDMI for Dreamcast

Could it be? Yes! Another episode of "How to Get Better Output From Your Old Consoles! Cheap!!" The situation this time involved an original Xbox and component cables that looked fine in the living room "alpha setup" but looked sort of crummy on the "beta setup's" 32&qu...

Re: Music!

Guess they are mostly licensed music, but Jet Grind Radio/Jet Set Radio Future have some cool tracks.

Also, love cranking-up the surround sound for a round of Rez HD.

Very basic Raspberry Pi questions..

I'm Raspberry Pi 3B+ curious. I get that it doesn't come with an OS, but not sure if you need Raspbian (or some Linux distro), or just Retropie for emulation. Any info/suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: PS2 HDMI Adapter

It looks similar to these type of PS2 HDMI adapters (scroll down this link a bit.)

If this Pound one plays nice with PS1 games, it would be superior to the cheap one I got.

Re: C64 mini

Weird thought...you could run stuff like word processors or Printshop on this thing. Wonder if you could get a printer to work with them? A USB to Centronics adapter/cable that would work with an old Epson compatible printer...yeah, I know, goofy thought.

Dave, NASCAR?

I was looking at some used Wii games at GameStop the other night, and wanted to do some "research" on a game, and after a site search realized the critic has never reviewed a NASCAR game. That was surprising, considering the many racing game reviews including F1, Rally, and Indy games... D...

Re: 2018/10/15: Playstation 4: Little Nightmares

Interesting how you rated this (and Limbo...seems like similar type of games) so low. Just for grins, give Inside a try, there's a physical version that comes with a current gen copy of Limbo...
