Re: Sony Playstation Classic, $99 US, 12/3

For the sake of people who are going to buy this console, I sincerely hope that they don't force HD upscaling. The PS1 games that are completely 3D should look fine with it, but the many games that combine 2D and 3D elements look really bad when they do this. There's no way around it since high-def...

Re: VGC Anti Atari??

You were even very lenient to the 5200, citing its strong points such as sound quality and arcade ports. Obviously the controller is a flaw but there are some workarounds for that. I honestly prefer the 5200 over the 7800.

Re: Mystery Science Theater 3000?

Dude, repeat after me: it's a comedy show. For laughs, not for real movie critiques. If you don't like it, that's fine, but all these edgelords trying to convince other people that what they like is wrong based on their personal, subjective opinions of humor ("Its not funny because its garbage...

Re: Sony Playstation Classic, $99 US, 12/3

I'm sure it will be good for someone out there, but I already have so many different ways to play these games, the highest on the list being my Vita. I think I'll pass on this one.

Re: Credit card points, airline miles, transfers, etc.

One card that has ironically proven to be a dream come true for budget travelers is the JP Morgan Ritz card. I got it last September and since then have used the following benefits: -Discounted airfare (saved $400 in 2017) - basically, this gives you a $100 discount on any economy, round trip itiner...

Credit card points, airline miles, transfers, etc.

This past summer I was sitting on about 70,000 Amex points and couldn't figure out a good way to utilize them. I read on The Points Guy about getting awesome deals on point transfers but at the time I was shopping around, none of the ratios were very good. I ended up spending the points, but felt li...

Re: Nvidia Switchforce port incoming!

Don't feel bad. That's why they're called "opinions". And even if nobody on this thread wants to admit it, their opinions ALSO are nothing more than second-hand information, based on "facts" (they assume they are facts) that they read somewhere. You would probably be well served...

Re: Dragon Quest XI

Have you run into any metal slimes yet? I was googling where to find them, and only saw one randomly in battle in the desert area with another random monster. I still haven’t seen any on the actual overworld. I ran into one but it immediately escaped after the first turn. The game was just teasing ...

Re: Super Ghouls and Ghosts

I broke out my SNES Classic the other day and tried Super Ghouls and Ghosts. Now I'm a huge fan of Dark Souls and Bloodborne, so obviously a game being hard doesn't bother me. SG&G, though, is too hard! Unfairly hard! There's no strategy or skill here, it's just an avalanche of enemies designed...
