Re: Move over, ATGames. M2 is here to save the day!

You may want to consider the Analogue Mega SG then. It's an extremely accurate high-definition Sega Genesis reproduction running on a fpga computer. Via a firmware update, you're able to load up a SD card with all original Genesis software other than Virtua Racing with its onboard processor, as well...

Re: Move over, ATGames. M2 is here to save the day!

One quick question I'd like to ask: Will you be able to add your own ROMS to it via an SD card or by hacking it? Nobody knows yet. Been no confirmation of a SD card slot. I did notice the fake cartridge slot flaps being operable in a video, so perhaps a SD port is lurking inside? Seems like a rathe...

Re: Wolfenstien New Blood physical Switch copy is a scam

This has been happening here and there for years. The first run of DuckTales Remastered on the PS3 was this way for instance (Happily later rectified with a true disc release on multiple platforms). Not a practice I'll support. If you're going to do a digital exclusive, at least be up front and hone...

Re: Atari Flashback (Switch)

My copy of Volume 3 arrived opened for the PS4 weeks ago as well. I figured it was due to what I read at another forum about GameStop locations only getting a single copy. I suspect my online order triggered a random GameStop location to take their display copy off the shelf to send to me. I hope th...

Re: Physical Release Thread

Limited Run Games put Axiom Verge for the Wii U up for sale today. Got a copy when orders went live at 10 AM. The remaining stock goes on sale at 6 PM. Anyone that wants one should still have an easy time of it early this evening. 45% of their inventory was held back for 6 PM and this morning it too...

just wait for them all as they are going to be the built in games on the new Atari VCS. It is arriving at Christmas and promises to be the best Atari ever. lol Joking aside, I think it's just Atari Vault (Which later was split in half for consoles and sold as Atari Flashback Classics Volumes 1 and ...

Re: Atari Flashback Vol 3 (PS4)

This one is fascinating. Most of the arcade games were late-70's black and white. Some are surprisingly fun! Not only are the black & white arcade games generally fun, but I had forgotten how sharp they looked. The resolution these appear to have run in was impressive and the details are amazin...

Re: 2019/3/20: Nintendo 64: Super Mario 64, Namco Museum 64

Not sure anyone's interested, but I love Super Mario 64. I became a N64 owner in 1999 and I probably didn't play Super Mario 64 until probably the year afterwards after borrowing it from a friend. I wasn't too impressed at the time and thought it looked primitive compared to something like Ocarina o...

For a recent physical compilation you may be unaware of, there's SNK 40th Anniversary Collection for the Switch. It has the arcade games I've listed below and some NES games as well. Alpha Mission Athena Beast Busters Bermuda Triangle Chopper I Fantasy Guerrilla War Ikari Warriors Ikari Warriors II ...

Re: What ever happened to arcade style racing games?

To me Horizon Chase doesn’t really feel like Outrun. It feels kind of boring in comparison. Don’t really know why, it just does. It seems to lack character. It's more intended as a spiritual sequel to Top Gear for the Super Nintendo rather than Sega's Outrun. Tons of nods to it, including the sound...
